Ella's POV
Okay so I was sitting at dinner with the rest of my friends when I hear Abby asking me if there's anything on my mind. I would be fine with this, but with the wishing orb on my mind, I'm scared I'll say the wrong thing and lose my chance to get the orb.
Meanwhile Holland was over at the other end of table looking confused and just gaping at me. Could he look any dumber?! Well, actually yes if he starts making that one stretched out face that makes me think of taffy being stretched at a factory.
He couldn't be any more adorable either. You just have to love him and his sweet smile filling the room with light. I wish I wasn't so scared to just ask him out. Looks like I'm just gonna have to tell them.
"So, guys I just won six tickets for trip to a resort getaway," that's great start. Too bad I had to start with a lie. "And I was wondering if you guys would come with me."
"Awesome Ella, "all of them exclaimed like a second part...
...Well almost all of them. Holland is still just sitting there. Only now, he looks more concerned.
"Are you sure that's all you want to say Ella?" Holland questioned. It's so hard to lie to him with this chocolate brown eyes staring into mine.
"Yeah, "I lied. Oh my gosh. I can't believe I just lied like that to Holland. I feel so selfish and untruthful. He still didn't look convinced, but he let it slide, luckily!
