Chapter 8 - The Fro Yo aftermath- Ricky

What. Just. Happened.

I just got the girl of my dreams. And she thought that I had a girlfriend? All this time, I thought I could never get her. And she thought she could never get me? She liked me all this time. How is that possible. Are we dating? I don't know. Maybe I should text her.
Hey. It's Ricky. Are we officially a thing now?
I don't know. Do we want to be?
Yes.
Then I guess we are officially a thing.
Oh.
Yeah.
But we can still be friends
Ofc. We just took the relationship we had before to the next level.

Well I just got a girlfriend
Things started off a little awkward. But we automatically went back to the old friends we used to be. In that month, Ricky and I had hung out 7 times. Every time, we took things farther. Chloe wanted to take things slow, and I agreed to that. Yesterday, she posted a picture of us and everyone commented saying that we were OTP. And I couldn't agree anymore.

Chloe and I were going out to dinner today. I knocked on her door. Her mom answered.
"Hi Ricky", she said.
"Hello Mrs. Lukasiak," I replied.
Mrs. Lukasiak has been so supportive of our relationship. At first, she was confused on why we were dating, considering our age difference. But after a while, she gave in realizing that we we truly made eachother happy. She even invited me over for dinner. I am coming over in 3 days.

As me and Mrs. Lukasiak were talking, Chloe came down the stairs. She looked stunning. She wore a red strapless mini dress with silver strappy heels. Her hair was let down, straightened. Man, she looked hot.

"Hey" I said
"Hey gorgeous" she replied, smiling.
"You look amazing," I said, staring in Chloe's eyes.
"So do you," she said, holding my hand.

We walked out, saying goodbye to Mrs. Lukasiak. I had my drivers liscense, so we drove to a nearby resturant. As we walked in, I saw all the eyes land on Chloe. I mean, she did look stellar. As we had food, the waiter was especially kind. He offered us the "couple" drinks and even served us a complimentary sundae. Since it was an Italian resturant, we both had ravioli. It was amazing.

The night ended with us walking through the downtown holding hands. We reached the bridge at the end of the block. We watched the pond and its calmness. Afterwards, I turned around to tell Chloe something, and she leaned in and kissed me. It seemed magical. I didn't know how to react. She just smiled and acted like nothing happened. But this felt amazing. I can't believe the girl of my dreams just kissed me. It felt like my life was complete.

I really did love Chloe, with all of my heart.
