"Here babe, I can take that for you," Harry asks, grabbing onto one of my suitcases before I have the chance to protest. As the wheels roll down the hallway so do we, heading to our next destination.
"No it's fine really, I can manage," I try to grab at the luggage but Harry swerves it away from my touch before I get the chance to. I smile and laugh up at him.
"No, you are the girl here and I'm the man, therefore it's my job to make sure you are never in distress." He nods his head twice and grins ahead of him. I giggle to myself at how foolish he looks.
"Okay, first off I'm a woman now not a girl anymore. And when you said I was the girl and you were the man it made me feel kind of like you were into pedophilia and I needed to you know, go-" Harry interrupts and laughs loudly, slightly pushing his dangling backpack into my side. I laugh with him but continue.
"And secondly, it sounds to me like you are calling me weak. Probably because you just referred to me as a girl... now give me back the damn suitcase you sexist pig," I joke, feeling wittier and more comfortable by the second.
Harry rolls his eyes but laughs once more, finally dragging back the luggage to me.
"You honestly are the strangest gir-"
My eyes bulge out and glare at Harry before he finishes his sentence.
"-Woman. The strangest woman I have ever met."
"Why, you make me blush Curly." I say, winking up at his speculative eyes.
Harry coughs under his breath and mutters a "smart ass", then quickly proceeds on with his backpack and suitcase, pretending like I don't hear him.
"Harry!" I gasp, reaching down to smack his butt. He whips around and grabs onto his left cheek acting as if my abnormal advances actually hurt him. A loud CLANG sounds down the hallway as Harry drops all his bags and goodies at the same time.
"Let's go Harris," He grumbles, lightly punching me in my stomach and arm. I laugh loudly and try to kick away his next throw. My cheeks heat up as he swiftly smacks my butt now, causing the bodyguards in front of us to turn around then awkwardly turn back. My eyebrows frown as I try and push him away, but soon enough he is laughing with such cuteness that I can't help but laugh back.
"You dork," I accuse, picking my luggage back up in my palms.
"Hey you guys?" A sweet and gentle voice calls from down the hallway. Me and Harry both look up at the same time and smile back to the mocha brown eyes that approach us.
"What's up Zayn? Is everything all right?" Harry asks with concern. Zayn gets closer to us but then stops in the middle of the hallway randomly. I can't help but notice the way his eyes flicker from one spot to another.
"You need to come downstairs, right away. There's something you have to see.." Zayn's voice is laced with unfamiliarity. Is it confusion or fright? Or is it panic?
Before we said anything in return Zayn had already turned around and rushed back to the elevator. In front of us two of the bodyguards receive a phone call simultaneously. They both give each other a peculiar look then answer the phone. They mumble a few "Mhm's" and a couple "Oh's". Me and Harry had almost calmed down a bit but then one of the bulky men rush to the window and look down at the streets below us. Suddenly, tourists and visitors who are roaming the halls and stepping out of the elevators run to the window as well. Among all of them only one girl catches my eye, she seems to be about the age of 15 and a boy band lover.
"Now why are we looking out the window again?" Her mother asks as she eyes her daughter who is glued to the glass.
"Because mom, Katy texts me about all the One Direction drama. And apparently something big is happening at this moment and I know they are leaving on their bus today but she says they are still here! So I would really like to see what is going on. Look at all those paparazzi mom, it's crazy." The girl's phone lights up and buzzes with three new texts, she shrieks as she reads them.
