Black Blood Mates

Chapter 3

Please ignore the cast of the book, I don't know how to edit it. So I will add a picture to each chapter of each important character. I have already added Yukio and Chance to the previous chapters.

Moongodess at the top

The tension in the room is so thick you could cut it with a spoon, everyone is watching each other. waiting for someone to say something or to do something.

"Okay, we are going to perform a test. We are going to draw blood and see who has black blood running through them. Then we will put the female in hiding and separate the family till it safe for everyone. Got it?" The Sungod and the Moongodess pulled out a gold knife. Gold is the only thing that can hurt us.

The females all lined up and I locked eyes with my brothers, I could see the fear in their eyes then I turned to look at Alpha Malik. He looked relax and calm which caused me to calm down a bit. Five girls down and no black blood, till it was my turn. I was cut and my blood was black.

I felt my heart stop and my wolf howl in sadness, whereas my demon was laughing. I couldn't get my eyes off the black blood dripping on the floor, creating a pool of black blood.

"T-t-this can't be happening."

"S-she has black blood Yukio." I turn to both my brother, who were both in as much shock as I was. 

"Halsey, we have to hide you. You will have to be sent to the Forest of Dragons, your brothers will go back to their original kingdom and your parents will be sent to the Foster of Ice with the Frost shifters. When time is right we will come collect you and your family. There isn't much time we have to leave now." The Moongodess explained and pulled me out the door before I could say goodbye to everyone. The Queen of Dragon's following us.

I quickly turned back to look at my brothers with tears in my eyes, they were both held back by Alpha Malik and the King of Elves. Fighting to get to me, to save me and tell me everything is going to be okay and they will keep me safe. 

"HALSEY! NO PLEASE! HALSEY! PLEASE YOU CAN TAKE HER AWAY!" Yukio yells

"WE ARE HER BROTHERS! WE WILL PROTECT HER! DON'T TAKE HER FROM US! HALSEY!" Chance cry's out.

"CHANCE! YUKIO!" I reach out for them and then suddenly a blue light appeared.

"YUKIO STOP!" Chance yells

Yukio shifted into his fox and ran to the Moongodess. Then there was another flash of light The Queen of Kutsane had shifted and pined Yukio to the ground. 

"WAIT! LET US DISCUSS THIS BEFORE WE DO ANYTHING THAT WILL PUT HER IN DANGER!" Alpha Malik yells, which cause everyone to stop.

"Well Alpha, if you have anything better we are listening." The Sungod says as we walk back into the room. I run and pick up fox Yukio and run with him to Chance.

"Moving her is a good idea but it is also a bad idea." Alpha Malik states.

"What are you on about?" Queen of Dragons asks

"I think he is onto something. As a Pure Super the Queen of Spirits was informed about all families. She was given the same book of names as we were. If she had given the book to the hunters, she know all the families and how many people are in each Kingdom in the East, South and West." Lord of Demons explains

"If we move her and separate her family, they will find it suspicious and figure out that she is the female black blood." King of Elves says

"So what are we going to do?" The Moongoddess asks everyone in the room.

We have just been watching them talk about different ways of hiding me; ideas such as blood transfusion, magic that will make my blood look silver, moving me to the Alpha's house and some other crazy ideas. Yukio is still in his fox shift, he is currently sitting on my laps watching the door while Chance stands behind the chair I'm sitting on. My hand run down Yukio's soft blue fur, listening to my wolf and demon argue inside my head.

How could she have a mate?

Are you serious right now. She is part werewolf.

She is part demon and they don't have mates.

Wow, that's sad. Then again you are evil, so I get why you don't have one.

They are a weakness that's why we don't have one.

Says who?

Every demon alive?

Well I'm glad she has one, he will make her happy and-

Get her killed. Where you not listening to what is happening right now? Or are you too dumb to understand?

Piss off demon

I cut them off as they start insulting each other. All they ever do is fight, it would be nice to have one of them tell me everything is going to be okay and that I won't cause a bunch of monsters loss to kill everyone.

"We could hide her at the pack. Think about it, the hunters would suspect that we would move her as soon as we find out what she is. The are waiting for us to move her, that's when they will attack us. Hiding her in the pack is the last thing they would suspect, we would have to hide her scent in case they use her mate to find her.  Chance could make a mist that can hide her scent, even from her mate. We will ask the dragon's if Felix could come to the pack and watch her, he bothers will be her warriors. If they find her, her brothers can fight them off while Felix gets her away from the pack.  It could work." Alpha explains 

"I don't know, its too simple." The Queen of Kitsunes added.

"Well I don't hear you coming up with a plan so, be quite. Who said every plan has to be complex, simple could be the best way. King of Elves give Chance the formula for the mist, Alpha inform your pack, Lord of Demons have your warriors ready in case the figure that she is at the pack, Queen of Kitsunes get a spell ready to hide their pack and Yutio please change back into your human form." The Sungod says

"You know he can't, unless you want to see a naked boy walking around." The Moongodess says and walks away.

I guess we could all leave, we leave with Alpha in his car and he calls his Beta. The Queen of Kitsunes was behind us so she could pt up the trick shield around the pack, the trick will make it look the our pack is a herd of deer grazing on grass.  Chance is busy reading the formula for the scent mist and I am busy petting little Yutio and trying to understand what my life has come to.
