Kenzie walked out of her crazy room the same way she had every other day that year, nothing was new and nothing was exciting. It was just her life, it was average and boring..well to her at least. She looked at her phone still no call or text from Asher. After all they had been through she was still the one who had to make all the calls and texts in their relationship.

As she rounded the corner she ran into two year old Carson who was causing terror all around the house and anywhere else anyone took him.

"You okay?" she asked looking at the small strawberry blond boy who now sat on the ground looking up at her. His Blond hair was still messed up from the small toddler bed that he slept in every night. He smiled up at her as he slowly and carefully stood up. She helped him get on his feet again, instead of letting him struggle any longer.

The small boy stared at Kenzie with his bright green eyes for a second before running down the hall and into another room. Kenzie shook her head laughing slightly at the clumsiness of the toddler.

"Bye Carson" she said giving the kid a small wave then walked into the kitchen to grab a banana before getting on the bus to go to Rivers dale high school. She hated the bus, she couldn't stand the smell of all the sweating kids and she didn't like how crowded it always was.

She walked down the street listening to 'she will be loved' by maroon five. She somehow over the past month had become obsessed with listening to it, kinda like a relaxer for her.

The four thirteen bus rolled around the corner and she could already tell it was crowded. "Great" she mumbled to herself before it stopped in front of her. The large door opened, revealing the horrible smell and the unpleasant 'hate my job' bus driver.

Pushing past the first couple seats she found her best friend Kyndall sitting in an empty seat reading Twilight. "why are you reading that trash?" she asked smirking, she herself loved twilight but enjoyed watching it more than reading it.

Kyndalls eyes didn't even leave the page "shush Kenzie" she said moving her bag so she could sit down.

Kenzie looked at her then looked out the window knowing that kyndall wasn't going to stop reading anytime soon. The bus ride was long, noisy and bumpy. It was almost like the driver looked for pot holes just so the people in the back of the bus were launched into the air.

The bus ride finally ended when it slowed to a stop outside Rivers dale high. Immediately Kenzie stood up and threw herself into the aisle to get off the bus before she had to wait till everyone got off to even get in the aisle. As she walked off the bus, Asher drove right past her in his 2011 scion Tc.

Kenzie watched him not sure if she should be pissed or fine with it, he was her boyfriend after-all. She watched him park the car and get out, he didn't even notice her looking at him.

Kenzies eyes scanned him as he walked towards the school. He wore a white monster energy shirt, dark wash jeans, and white Nike's. His brown hair was a mess like usual and his green eyes were covered by his aviator sunglasses. He walked into the school like he owned it, which he really though he did. He wasn't captain of anything sports related or even in any sports, he just had the looks to get noticed by everyone.

She shook her head trying not to stare at him anymore than she already had. As he walked towards the school she saw Mindy, the schools 'easy girl' to put it nicely. Kenzie didnt understand any of the girls at Rivers dale, they were all trying to be popular and be liked, unlike Kenzie. Kenzie was the kind of girl who didn't care what people thought of her and didn't really care for gossip.

Kenzie rolled her eyes and headed towards her first class, the only class she liked out of her whole schedule. It happened to be English and also her best friend Kyndall was also in it with her. Asher wasn't but he was also a year ahead of them and rarely went to class at all.

She walked into the nearly empty class noticing that Kyndall wasn't in the class yet. "hm" she said lowly as she walked towards her seat in the back corner. Looking around again the only people in the class at the moment were the nerds, geeks, and teachers pets not really people she usually associated with.

"your early if you don't leave people might think your like us" one of the other students said looking back at her.

"I don't care what they think" Kenzie said looking at her notebook.

"Oh....cool" He said again trying to sound cool.

"don't try to be cool, Just be yourself. Its a lot better than being something your not" Kenzie said then looked up smiling when Kyndall finally walked in.

The student who was talking to Kenzie immediately turned around and faced the front of the class. Kenzie guessed it was because she now had someone to talk to and wasn't classified as a nerd anymore since Kyndall was anything but a nerd, geek, or teachers pet.

"Hey" Kenzie said smiling at her friend.

"Hey, why are you here so early?" Kyndall asked sitting down in the seat next to her.

"Well I thought I was on time, not early and not late" she said shrugging.

"Oh okay, just checking to make sure your not being one of them" Kyndall said jokingly.

"Please, even if I was one of them you would still be my friend" she said starting to laugh.

"Yeah that's true for now" Kyndall said messing with Kenzie.

"Oh really?" Kenzie asked not really thinking it was true.

"Yeah" Kyndall said laughing still.

"okay" Kenzie said rolling her eyes then looked at her again "Where were you anyways? after we got off the bus you disappeared."

"I had to pee, and after that I ran into Asher. I had a piece of my mind to tell him, where my mom wouldn't hear me." she said smirking.

"Oh, what did he do?" Kenzie asked wanting to know why Kyndall was mad at him now.

"He went to a party last night and got drunk" she answered shaking her head.

"Oh" Kenzie said not wanting to know why her boyfriend had gotten drunk or what he did when he was drunk.

Kyndall not only was Kenzies best friend but she was also Asher sister. Kyndall and Asher aren't close at all, and rarely got along since they were complete opposites almost. Most the people at River dale couldn't stand Kyndall but everyone at River dale loved Asher, for some reason even Asher had no clue about.

The teacher finally walked in and the class started, which meant the end of talking and the end of finding out more about this party.
