After the argument and the break up Asher just wanted to have fun. Everyday was the same when he was with Kenzie, it was always work, be stalked by her, and deal with her obsessive checking on him. He didn't cheat on her, he didn't lie to her, and he didn't tell their secret so he didn't understand the way she treated him. Sure, he was one of the guy's who everyone talked to and a guy that a lot of girls flirted with but he didn't do anything.

He didn’t even like when Kenzie knew everything about him, why would he want a whole school wanting to know everything too? He didn't. He was surprised that their secret was still a secret, but since it was still hidden from everyone he would keep it hidden no matter what. He hoped that Kenzie thought the same way or their lives would get a lot more complicated.

Asher grabbed the keys to the garage and dismissed Phil from work early. He didn't want to be at work anymore, besides he had most of his stuff done and could go into work in the morning to finish the rest before school.

After locking all the doors in the shop he finally headed out the door, it was only around eight so the parties were either just getting started or hadn't started yet. He took his phone out of his pocket and saw that he had ten text's waiting in his inbox. He hadn't checked his texts since school had gotten out and three of them were from Kenzie.

The other texts were telling about parties that weekend and one for that night. He would have skipped the party if they would have asked the day before or even if they had asked two hours before but at that moment he wanted something to take his mind off of Kenzie.

He didn’t even bother to go to his house to change out of his work clothes, he wasn’t there to impress anyone. He walked over to his car that sat in the empty parking lot by itself besides some object that laid in one of the parking spots.

"what’s that?" he asked himself as he walked towards it.

As he got closer to the object the more it became familiar to him. It wasn't a piece of trash like he had first thought it was, it wasnt even something that belong to anyone who worked at the garage. It was a Lightning McQueen doll, it had stains on the bottom of it from years of being taken everywhere with a two year old. It was Carson's toy, the only reason Asher knew it was Carson's was because he had bought it for him.

He picked the toy up and dusted it off, now was the hard part. Should he go drop it off knowing that Carson would be a pain without it or should he keep it till he and Kenzie were talking again? He sighed looking at the toy, it wouldn't be fair to Carson if he kept it. After all Carson wasn't the one who caused them to fight, he was just there most of the time that they did. Asher tried to keep Carson from being in the same room, most the time because he didnt want Carson to say anything he heard the two say in anger to Kenzie's mom.

Asher tossed Lightning McQueen into the passenger seat being sure that he didn't land on the ground. Only minutes after leaving the garage he found himself out side of Kenzie’s white two story house. The house had always looked perfect, inside and outside but the people were messed up that lived there. He looked at the toy and then at the house, her father was home which meant there was no way he was going to knock on the door. The easiest way was the only way didn't even mean Carson would get the toy.

He got out of his car leaving it running just incase he wanted to get out of there quickly. Glancing at the toy one more time he smirked remembering how non drama filled it was the day he had bought it. Not wanting to think about it anymore, he shoved the toy into the Mailbox hoping that someone would find it and give it to Carson.
