Chapter 8
My vision was blurry. It was a figure. A guy. He was fighting. Who? I squinted as it went dark to blurry. Three men? "Dallas," I whispered. Dallas. That was Dallas. My heart started to pound when I realized Crash wasn't there. Why was I so concerned about Crash. Why do I feel like this. I got up as my vision came back. The sounds of them fighting echoed throughout the room. One saw me get up as he charged and the other two kept fighting Dallas.

"Lelia! Are you ok?" He asked.

"Yeah!" I answered. I got into position, just as Asami told me to. I looked at him, watching his every move. He was big. Big as in muscular. Oh lord. He pulled one swing at me as I ducked and he missed. I grinned proud of my move but before I realized it, I was flying across the room with an intense pain. I hit the wall and I made a oomph sound only to hear something shatter. My eyes widened as I looked behind me. The wall was broken. Glass littered the floor and I sat on some.

"Lelia! Are you ok?" Dallas asked. I don't know. I saw the guy turn back and look at Dallas. I put my hand down and tried to get up but failed right away. I gritted my teeth as each shard dug in my skin. I watched as Dallas was pinned to the floor.

"No!" I screamed. My heart pounded and I shook my head. No, we won't go down like this. Without a second, I stood up and ran towards the guys. I didn't feel the little pricks of glass but I felt the desire to win. I attacked one behind as the other's heads stuck up. "I'm back," I said in a dark tone. The guy fell to the floor but over Dallas. He cried out as the weight fell on him. No, it wasn't me. It was someone else.

"What the hell Adalynn!" He cried.

"Sad to be saved by a girl huh?" I laughed. What am I saying? Why am I responding to that name? It's like I'm watching myself in a movie. I got up and, skillfully, brought the others down. I used a flip kick on one of their heads as they knocked out. So their head was their weakness? I kneed the other in the head but he got up. He wasn't big, he was lean but by watching from a view point, I saw he was tactical. Apparently, I knew that and I went to flip him onto the floor.

"Shut up," Dallas mumbled as his face was bright red. I smirked at him, in response.

"Never going to let it go," I said while I was dealing with the guy. I heard Dallas grunt. Finally, with one swift kick he knocked out. I sighed and I blinked a few times. Sweat covered my body and I wiped it. Wait... I felt my face and with wide eyes, I turned my head towards Dallas. He looked at me as if I was going crazy.

"What?" He asked in a dried throat tone.

"Who? What happened?" I asked.

"Lelia, that was your former self going into action. Her, your name is Adalynn," he explained. So, I'm Adalynn? He got up and brushed his hands. "Until you get your memories back, your useless in a fight," he said as his voice went cold. His eyes narrowed on me and I flinched. I looked down at the floor. Dang this guy makes me feel like shit. I saw Crash laying on the floor and before I knew what I was doing, I ran to him.

"Crash!" I called. The needle with at least half still in it. I pulled it out and Crash's eyes fluttered open. He looked around and his mouth opened but no sound came out. "Are you ok?" I asked.

"W-who are you? Where am I?" He asked in a throaty voice. My stomach dropped at the question. Why? I don't know.

"Crash, I'm Lelia," I explained.

"Dummy. That's the same solution you were injected with. Of course he doesn't remember," Dallas sighed.

"Talia. I want Talia," he whispered. Dallas's eyes widened.

"You remember your sister?" He asked and Crash's eyes followed Dallas. He narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms.

"What the hell man, of course I remember. What the hell are we doing here and why are you here? Where's my sister?" He asked, firing questions. He got up and looked at me, in disgust before scooting away. Hurt, for some damn reason, I scooted away.

"Well, Lilac. Stay away. I don't know who you are but please I need some space," he said. Flinching, I got up and walked away. Why the hell did that hurt so much?

Dallas's Point of View

"Come on man. Did you have to be so rude to her?" I asked as I crossed my arms.

"Well, stranger danger," he huffed. I rolled my eyes. Great now he has the brain of an even year old.

"So mature," I mocked. He crossed his arms and I went to go pick Talia up. She was so thin and pale. He got up and looked at Talia. His eyes were wide and he stood, motionless.

"T-Talia?" He stuttered. I looked down and back up.

"Sorry man but she's been stuck here for a year and we c-" I was cut off.

"And we didn't do anything?" He shouted.

"We were waiting for Lelia," I explained.

"Who the hell is Lelia and why the fuck is she so important?" He shouted.

"Well she is the one to help us. We are friends and you went and hurt her today. She risked her life for you," I defended her.

"No! She wasted my sister's life!" He shouted. Talia twitched as her eyes fluttered open. She turned her head and shook it.

"This is not Adalynn's fault. She saved me," she said in a whisper before going to sleep. Saved? What happened?

"I'm not taking any of this. Who is Adalynn?" He asked, stoically.

"Lelia," I whispered.

"What the hell!" He said as he threw his hands up in the air. "Everything is about her," he shouted. I shook my head and sighed.

"Until you get you facts straight and understand, I will be leaving," I said before going after Adalynn.
