Okay, so some of you guys asked for a sequel type thing to Crossing the Line, so here it is! I will try this story but if it doesn't get enough views or I generally don't like it, I might stop writing it or put it on hold for a while so basically, don't get your hopes up. I know there are a lot of things you want to see happen with this story (Nadia and Bently hooking up) but I can't promise you that will happen. I have to feel it to know that it's right. Anyways enough ranting, I hope you enjoy!
Tell me what you think.

The baby is crying, again. I groan and smoosh my head into the side of my pillow, I knew having a kid would be hard but seriously not enough books and dramatic movies can prepare you for how time consuming and sleep depriving it really is, I feel like a freaking slave to this baby. Don't get me wrong, I love my kid and I chose to keep him but motherhood, at least at this age, kinda... sucks.
I roll out of bed and stumble into the next room not bothering to turn on any lights, I've gotten used to where everything is so I don't trip over any of the baby's toys. Leaning over the crib I can't help but smile when I see his little chubby arms and legs flailing about.
"Oh, did you have a bad dream?" I coo, picking up the baby. "Did my little boy have a bad dream?"
I don't know what it is about babies that makes you want to talk to them in that dooey, weird voice but I just can't help it. I walk with Eli in my hands, bouncing him up and down ever so slightly to make him stop crying. He calms down eventually and I shove his favorite pacifier in his mouth just to make sure.
"Mommy will make you breakfast now," I say, while placing him in his high chair.
Eli looks back at me with big brown eyes that resemble his father's. I make his formula, all the while humming to myself. As I stand by the microwave watching the numbers count down, I realize it isn't even that early in the morning. The clock on the stove reads seven thirty. I turn around and smile at Eli.
"Guess who slept through the whole night," I cheer.
Eli is too concerned with sucking his pacifier to understand what I just said, he bangs his little hands down on the eating area of his high chair, gosh the kid is so demanding. I switch out his pacifier for the bottle and watch him suck down the cream colored formula. I sigh, leaning my head against the back of the chair and watch Eli eat when the door bell rings. I roll my eyes.
"Who could that be?" I ask Eli.
I march to the door but don't bother looking through the peep hole to see who it is, I open the door to let Tyrone in.
"You really should start calling before you come over," I say, while marching back towards the kitchen.
Tyrone shuffles in a few minutes later carrying a stuff animal bear with him. "I did call, you didn't answer and I wanted to catch you before you left."
Tyrone got me pregnant when I was only a Junior in high school and now two whole years later he's still here trying to be the best dad he can be. He denied Eli was his at first but he was the only guy I had ever slept with, eventually he warmed up to the idea but it was a big shock to me and my family when Tyrone stepped up after Eli was born.
Tyrone saunters over to Eli and starts to tickle his bare belly. "So do you really have to leave today? I was thinking I could take Eli out to the park and watch him for the day so you can have more time to pack and rest."
