Chapter 1.

***PAST***

Eva's POV:-

"Eva!" "Eveee!" "Wake up!" I woke up with my brother shouting my name and the aroma of pancakes that had filled the room, "iam up matthew!" I got up groaning, i really am not a morning person.

i pulled out some sweats and went straight to the bathroom to take a quick shower. I then dried my hair and pulled on my sweats and headed downstairs only to meet my two brothers and mum.

"Morning!" I said kissing my mum's cheek.

"morning sweetie" she replied with a wide smile.

we have that really strong mother-daughter relationship considering that my father died in a car crash when i was at a young age and she feels guilty that i hadn't spent time with him so she tries her best to make me feel content with not having a father.

"Morning Evess" said my brother matthew smiling along with dylan at me.

"morning bros" i said back.

my brothers and i have a strong relationship as well, they are really caring and protective of me, matthew acts a little bit like a father to me and i like the feeling of it as i didn't get to experience that with my own father.

I pulled out a plate and put some pancakes on it and sat next to dylan and started eating my breakfast.

"Sweetie?" Called my mum, i looked up at her as a sign for her to speak.

"my new job mate seems really sweet and i reckon she said she's one of our neighbours so i invited her over, also, i believe she mentioned something about her son who's of your same age so, i want you to be ready by 6 to meet them" she smiled sweetly.

"ofcourse mum, but can i take a quick run around the neighbourhood so i can take a look around as iam new here and all?" I asked.

"Sure honey! Just get back by 4:30, take ur phone with you and some money for if you needed anything and try not to get lost" she smiled and i smiled back continuing to nibble on my breakfast.

After breakfast, i changed to a hoodie and a pair of leggings, i grabed my ipod and headed downstairs, "Bye Everyone!" I shouted as they all nodded their heads.

"Bye eva! Take care" said my mum as i smiled back up at her.

After about 30 minutes just basically walking around, i noticed a small cozy looking bakery that i reminded myself to grab something from on the way back home, a homey looking restaurant, a gift shop and a starbucks thats just everywhere nowadays.

I turned back to home, but before that i went to grab a tea and maybe a cupcake from the bakery nearby.

As i got in, the smell of fresh baked cupcakes, pastries and coffee filled my nose, its not really huge and not modern like some bakeries nowadays, its small and very cozy.

I went to the cashier to order my stuff and there stood a guy with a mop of chocolate brown curls on top of his head counting money, he lifted his head when he noticed me and smiled widely "hii!"

i smiled back at him "hey"

"you must be new here, haven't seen you around" he raised an eyebrow.

"iam, but its my mother's hometown so we thought of moving in here" i smiled.

"oh! Well, welcome to holmes chapel! You'll love it" he grinned.

"i actually do! I took a walk around here and i really did like it...its all cozy and warm" i smiled.

"oh yes it is!" He said proudly "iam harry by the way" he extended his hand to shake mine.

"evangeline, but call me eva" i said shaking his hand, He grinned and i smiled back.

"so eva what will your order be?" He asked.

"I'll have a tea and a redvelvet cupcake" my mouth slightly watering at the mention of cupcakes.

"nice choice! Please take a seat and i'll be right back with your order" i smiled widely and went to sit in the booth right beside the window.

After about 5 minutes harry came back with my order "here ya go" he smiled as he settled my order on the table.

"thank you harry" i smiled, "my pleasure" he smiled back and walked away.

After i finished my very delicious cupcake and my small cup of tea i was ready to head to my home and get ready to meet the guests tonight, i got up and walked to the door "bye harry! Thank you once again!" I shouted as there seem to be no one in the bakery.

"No problem eve! See ya around"

"sure!" We smiled at each other one last time before i got out and headed back home.
