I woke up the next morning feeling lethargic and sore. As i opened my eyes to the burning morning light shinning through my window i squinted my deep brown eyes to see my clock read 6:30am. First day at a new school this should be fun. What can go wrong? Just stay at the back. Don't get in anyones way and you will be fine. I tried to pep talk myself as i climbed out of my bed. I slowly dragged myself into the bathroom as i wiped my tired eyes hopefully waking me up more. Sadly it didn't work...maybe a nice cold shower should do the trick. I have to get ready and leave this hell hole before he wakes. I quickly peeled off my clothes and draped them over the bench as i stepped into the refreshing shower.
I wasted no time to get ready as i knew that if i didn't leave before my dad awakens i will be better off dead. After i washed my body and face i jumped out of the shower wrapping my towel around my fragile, broken, petite body. I soon picked out a simple outfit: black leggings, white top, red and black flannel tied around my deteriorating waist with my white high-top converse. I applied some foundation to disguise all the hurt and scars that is painted on my body. I then quickly put on some mascara to make my eyes pop and look less broken. My dad made sure to buy me things to make me look like nothing was ever wrong....little did everyone know what was happening behind closed doors. I quickly chucked my raven black hair into a messy pony tail, grabbed my bag, threw on my black thick framed glasses and headed out the door not bothering about breakfast. Trying not to awaken the beast that people recognise as my father.Authors note: what did you guys think? Comment your opinions and i would love it if you vote.
