Sherlock looked at John with a look of happy confusion at the texts he just read. Not only was John tired but now angry at how happy Sherlock looked knowing he was never that happy when he texted him for he was only his flatmate not a love interest like he wanted. Sherlock swiftly jumped up and shouted at John "I'm going out!" and threw his coat on, turning up his collar as usual. He hailed a cab to go to St Bart's and during the drive he messaged JM.

St Bart's, now – SH

I'm nearly here, if you are coming meet on the roof top where I last saw you – SH

But still no reply. His thoughts were whizzing round his mind palace and making it foggy 'maybe it's a prank, was John trying to be funny' he whispered to himself but he got out of the cab anyway forgetting to pay again. He gave them John's number so he could pay. He felt bad but it was important and didn't want to take any chances.

As he was walking up the stairs his phone buzzed was it JM or John or Lestrade. He read the text unwillingly.

I'm here, where are you? I need to talk – JM

His head and heart suddenly went to rest and his thoughts were clear again. The stairs seemed so long but he got to the roof and opened the door to see Jim Moriarty's face reflected in a puddle left outside the door. With one swift and sudden move the consulting criminal pulled the detective into a close embrace. "I missed you, Holmes."
