John quickly drank his tea, giving himself enough energy to at least walk back upstairs and get dressed. Within 5 minutes John Watson was ready to leave 221b Baker Street but when he got downstairs Sherlock was already pacing, muttering to himself. "John, where is he, it's almost 8:15 and I don't wanna miss- ah John." Sherlock beamed as he spotted his flatmate and they both made their way out side, hailing a cab. John seemed a lot calmer than Sherlock in the cab journey but he didn't know what was making the detective so excited, or edgy, he couldn't tell which.
After constantly checking the time, Sherlock's phone buzzed and he quickly opened the message.
Ten minutes, dear – JM
Sherlock didn't reply but also didn't let John see his phone, he didn't want him knowing that he was talking to Jim. Again, Sherlock checked the time just as the cabbie pulled up in Piccadilly Circus. "Anywhere specific, Mr 'olmes?" The cabbie asked and Sherlock shook his head. "Here is fine." After jumping out excitedly, Sherlock straightened his coat and strolled off, leaving John to pay. He placed himself on a bench that faced many of the screens lining the buildings in Piccadilly Circus and waited. Before long, John placed himself next to Sherlock and turned to look at him. "So, Sherlock, why exactly are we here?" Sherlock didn't answer, instead he just carried on waiting and watching until his phone buzzed.
