"Yoo Shinji will you be mine again?" the words that came out from his mouth made me froze

"W-what?" I said

"I want us to work out again Shinji, I miss you, I miss us." He says

"Mingyu" I say

"Please Shinji give me a chance" he pleads

I retracted my hand away from his and the way his eyes changed broke my heart

"Look Mingyu-" I start

"No it's okay, I understand" he says quietly

"Look Mingyu, I don't know how to say this, but" I said biting my lip as tears form in my eyes

"I love you okay, I still do, but, what we had before, Mingyu, we were young, we were happy, but things changed Mingyu, we both grew apart" I say

"I know that you want to  restart and try again, but Mingyu" I trail off

"You like someone else" he finishes off

"I'm so sorry Mingyu" I sobbed covering my face with my hands

I felt him stood up, I thought he was going to leave but then I felt him sit beside me putting his arm around me in a comforting way

I look up at him and he wipes my tears with his thumb

"I'm really sorry Mingyu" i say looking down

He sighs

"I understand, I'm sorry for making you feel burdened." He says

"It was my fault in the first place" he adds

"No, okay, none of it was your fault Mingyu, maybe that's just the way it is for us" I say

"I love you Mingyu, but it's really time for us to let go of our past, you'll find someone more deserving of your love and that person will love you just as you love them" I stated

He suddenly cups my face with both of his hands and gave me a soft long kiss, the thing is, I didn't feel anything, it wasn't the same feeling I felt when I was kissing Wonwoo.

Mingyu pulls away and looks down

"Sorry, I couldn't help it" he says

"I guess it was a farewell kiss?" He adds

I chuckle and shake my head

"Kim Mingyu you have not changed a bit" I say making him smile a bit

"So I guess it's time to say goodbye?" He asks

"To our past yes, I'll always be here for you Mingyu" I state

"I'll always be here for you too Yoo Shinji, I'll always love you. Whenever you need something don't hesitate to call okay?" He says

I smile and nod

We both stood up and go out of the cafe

"Thank you, for everything" he says  smiling

"Thank you aswell" I say

And we both walk separate ways.
