Chapter 21

" he is such a fucking dick! "

  shinji said loudly making the people around them look at her
mingyu cringed at her drunken state and took the glass of soju from her

" ok shinji i think that's enough soju for you" he stated

"nooooo that was just my 2nd bottle!" she whined

"that was your 5th, let me just take you home yeah?" he suggested

"no! just leave me here to die" she said slamming herself on the table

" yup ok, i'm taking you home" mingyu muttered

he stood up and took her bridal style ignoring the judgmental looks of the elderly around them

" i-i c-can't b-believe he is so d-dumb" shinji hiccuped

"he's such a jerk" she said

soon enough she started giggling

"mingyuuuuuuu" she pouted

"yes shinji?" he asked as they got to his car
"you have a big head" she giggled

"thanks" he snickered
then she sighed dramatically

"i hope they didn't do anything" she said sadly

"i will castrate him for you if he did" mingyu said putting seatbelt on her

"dONT, i like him a lot" she whispered

mingyu stopped for a while, despite what they talked about mingyu couldn't help but feel heartbroken at her statement. he sighed and closed the door and went to the driver's seat.

quietly he drove to shinji's house hearing the light snores from the girl sitting beside him he couldn't help but miss her and think how dumb wonwoo is to do such thing, how could he just leave with another girl and let her girlfriend stay behind.

stopping infront of shinji's house  he saw their was no one home and thought he couldn't just leave her alone
so he took the risk of taking her to his dorm.

arriving later he took shinji and placed her on his bed and closed the door, he wrote down something on a piece of paper and placed it somewhere near the room incase she wakes up earlier than him.

mingyu went and lie down on the couch and being tired himself he drifted off to sleep

shinji woke up with a pounding headache greeting her a good morning, she lazily stood up, her eyes still closed as she made her way outside she felt unfamiliar with her surroundings.

--- abruptly she opened her eyes to see that her assumptions were right she wasn't in her house. her adjusted to the bright lights as she frantically looked for her shoes, that she was having a very hard time to look for as she was pacing around she hit a hard chest, before falling down a strong arm grabbed her and steadied her.

"woah there tiger, slow down"

"mingyu?" she says looking up

"oh thank god it's you" she says in relief

mingyu slowly let go of her and lead her to the kitchen without a word.

that's strange.

"do you remember anything?" mingyu asks as she shuffle around sticking his head on cupboards searching for something

"i don't know, it's a bit cloudy right now, my head hurts and i'm hungry as fuck" she muttered placing her hands on her head

mingyu chuckles as he pulls a chair out to sit infront of her, he slightly pushes a plate towards her and with water and a pain killers

"here eat this, then drink this medicine, and we'll talk after" he smiles

she started digging in like a starved child as mingyu look at her quietly. she couldn't help but get a little angry at wonwoo, it's only been a week since they started dating but he's already swerving somewhere else. was he that dumb?

"ya kim mingyu" shinji says with a mouth full of bread

"huh? sorry.. what?" he replies pushing away his thoughts about wonwoo

" i asked if you were ok, you were staring at the place mat as if he hadn't payed his debts" she says

"nothing, i was just thinking" he mutters

shinji looks at him weirdly but decided to brush it off

"anyway, you all good now?" he asks

"why are you gonna kick me out?" she chuckled

"i was planning to actually" he joked

"ha.ha.ha very funny" she replies

mingyu chuckled and looked at her
"seriously though, do you remember anything?" he says

"yes i do, unfortunately, and quite vividly if you ask me" she sighed

"you okay?" he asks

"i guess, i'm not sure to be honest, i'm disappointed that's for sure" she says

"you have all the right to be" mingyu states

"so what are you gonna do now?" he asks

"i don't know, i'll just see what happens" she replies

"well, i'll always be here if you need me" mingyu says reassuringly

"thanks mingyu" she says giving a grateful smile

" so what do you wanna do now?" he asks again

"go home, get a shower, bomb that bitch's face" she states with a serious expression making mingyu laugh loudly

mingyu continues to laugh, making her laugh slightly

"that was a good one" he says
"not really, but thank you" she chuckles
"come on, i'll drive you home" mingyu says
"no, it's okay, i'll call a cab or something" she says

mingyu gives her a face making her confused

"what?" she asks
"don't be stupid, i'll drive you" he says
"i've burdened you enough dummy" she replies
"shut up, ok i'll drive you home, and that's final, now go get your shoes" he states
"ok... then captain bossy" she chuckles and head off to find her shoes

mingyu sighs

" you'll never be a burden to me shinji, never"
