Fear quickly washed over me as I stood in front of my bedroom window. I could feel my palms become sweaty as the panic began to rise in my chest, but just as quickly as it came it went away. I pushed away my fear and did my best to calm my nerves. Now was certainly not the time to be getting emotional. If there really is someone in my room, I shouldn't give them the satisfaction of seeing me scared. I need to be brave and strong in this moment. I needed to protect my dad who was downstairs along with my sister who was in her room just down the hall. They're probably both asleep so it was all on me at this moment. It was me versus the stranger in my room.
Before I could even turn around or take my next breath, I felt a sharp, cold object press against my neck as a hand covered my mouth. My eyes widened in fear as I began to sweat. My attacker's hands were ice cold against my skin. I could feel their presence easily tower over me, meaning they would be able to overpower me without breaking a sweat. My mind was then flooded with all kinds of scenarios on how this could go down, but not a one was in my favor.
The intruder whispered against my ear with their harsh, raspy voice. "Go to sleep."
Out of a desperate need to get free, I bit down on his hand and elbowed him as hard as I could in the ribs. The intruder curses under his breath and stumbles backward. I take this as my chance to run and get my dad's gun in his bedroom, but at the last second I think better of it, knowing that if I go to the bedroom I'd be trapped in with the intruder. Escaping to go get help would be a wiser choice. So, I bolt out of my door and down the stairs, but just as I'm halfway down the first flight, I feel the man grab a fistful of my hair and yank it as hard as they could, causing me to fall as they forcefully drag me up the stairs. I scream and kick as I try to break free or to at least get my dad's attention, but it's no use. I was a goner.
The man then drags me back to my room and toses me by my hair on to my bed. He then climbs on top of me as I close my eyes and silently cry, wishing for a miracle at this point for someone to come and save me. Once again I feel the cold object against my neck and realize it must be a knife. The man then adds pressure to the blade and I feel my warm blood start to run down my neck. I suddenly open my eyes to see who my killer would be only to gasp in surprise.
The man before me, soon to end me, was none other than Jeff the Killer himself. He looks down at me with his insane and bloodthirsty eyes and I look right back up into his. My eyes trail down to his nasty carved smile and pale lips. Out of curiosity, I reach up and touch them as if nothing was going on, ignoring my injury and soon to come death. Jeff pauses and looks down a bit caught off guard, no longer focusing on his knife cutting into my throat.
I do my best to speak as clearly as I can, but my voice sounds all raspy from screaming for my life just seconds before. "You're just as beautiful as I imagined," I thought out loud.
Jeff gives me an even more confused look, but quickly shakes it off and raises his voice at me and yells, "GO TO SLEEP."
I chuckle and say my last dying words, "I would've been asleep if you hadn't wakened me." I smile and let my life be taken by Jeff the Killer.
Okay, this one is a little short, but I wanted a cliffhanger so here. Enjoy
