My pov:

I get off the bus running through the front door of my house. Wiping my tears I slam the door and lock my bedroom door. 'I hate my life.' I think to myself. I don't get it. Why does everyone have to hang up on me? I know I'm not pretty or skinny or smart but why don't I ever get a break?! I look over to my left as I see a shiney blade twinkle. Huffing all the anger out of me I grab it. I start rolling up my sleeves as I hear a loud knock on my door making the blade cut me. "Ah," I say covering my mouth. I roll my sleeve down and open the door. "Lia you ok? Did they gang up on you again? Did you have a bad day?" My mom asks concerned. "It's just I don't know why they always have to do this to me." I say looking away. "Well guess what? We're moving to California. I just got a great job opportunity." I hug my mom. "That's great mom." I say pulling away our hug. "So go ahead and start packing there should be furniture already in this new house so just pack your clothes and necessities." She tells me walking out my door. I look at my arm seeing the blood going through. "Crap crap crap crap..." I say searching through my bathroom drawers for a bandaid. I wrap my arm with toilet paper hoping my mom won't notice the blood stains. Well better start packing now it's gonna be a whole new experience.

My pov:

Time for my first day of school. I really hope I won't be judged so easily. I bite my lip searching threw my closet for an outfit. I pull out a pair of skinny jeans with converse and a gray and white striped half sleeve shirt. Once I finished putting my clothes on I put my brunette wavy mid-long hair into a ponytail. I put on mascara and face powder for a more natural look. "Hunny your bus is here have a good day today!" My mom calls out to me as I wave and walk out the door. I jump into the bus and sit alone plugging in my headphones. I glance over and see 3 girls looking at me. I take out one headphone and look at them. "Aw a new girl how cute. You know... Your not pretty... And your kinda fat. Hahahaha." They laugh at me. I feel my eyes wet as a guy sneaks up from behind me sits next to me. "Hi I'm Shane." He says smiling. I look over at him blinking making my tears disappear dripping down my cheek. I feel myself become red as he touches my face wiping away the tears. I smile at him. "Hey so il see you around k?" He tells me with me nodding. We walk out the bus. My palms are sweaty as I get ready to walk through the school doors. This will be one crazy year.
