*morning of school*

My pov:

I wake up by a phone call. I answer mumbling. "Helllo..?" I answer. "Lia are you asleep we have school today..." He says making me feel stupid. "Oh my god okay thank u Shane," I hang up getting dressed. I rush out the door realizing I didn't put on any makeup, sh**. Shane comes walking by as I look down. "Hey lia." He says joyfully. I look up at him. "I'm sorry I forgot to put on makeup..." I look away so he can't see my face. He turns my shoulder around and puts the middle of his index finger and thumb on my chin allowing him to see my face. "Lia your beautiful you don't even need any makeup." He says holding my hand. I smile kissing his cheek. "Oh wow rip off," he says playfully. I laugh until I see a blonde girl walking up to us. "Hey oh my god are you not wearing makeup, hunny we both know that you need it. Hahahaha." She says laughing looking at me. I look downward until the bus finally gets here. Shane rubs my back lightly comfortingly.

We finally arrive at school and me and Shane head off to English class together. This time I manage to sit by Shane. I start falling asleep in class and Shane shakes my shoulders whispering, "lia get up your gonna get in trouble." Then just like he said I got in trouble. "That's it lia. You. Detention. Today." She says strictly. "But mrs.goldste-" I get cut off as she snaps her fingers at me. Shane throws a peice of paper at the teacher. "Yo just wanted to say whuddup miss." Shane says in a gangsta voice making half the class laugh while the other half is texting. "That's it Shane you have detention today too!" She snaps back and Shane winks at me smirking. The bell rings and we head on for lunch.
