                       {skyler's POV}

I take a deep breath as I start walking down the overly crowded hallway

I sped up my pace as I felt lots of people staring at me

Right when I approached my locker I felt a firm grip on my wrist and someone whip me around

"What the hell!" I curse as I hit my head on my locker

"So you think it's okay to ignore me the whole summer and come back being a totally hot new.. You?!" My best friend yells
"I hope you know I was worried sick you never even read my texts I thought you..." She says as tears fill her eyes

I know it sounds bad that I did ignore her this whole time but I didn't want to be in her way..

"You have plenty of other more popular friends Maddy.. I didn't want to ruin what people thought about you." I whisper while looking down at the floor

"When have I ever left you for other popular people, they're all fake and you know that!" She says as her face goes red

I know she wasn't mad but just.. Disappointed.. Ugh now I'm starting to feel bad

I sigh as I pull her into a big hug

"I'm sorry maddy I won't do it again" I say as I look into her big hazel eyes

"It's finee just please don't stop being my best friend I don't know what I'd do with out you. Now come on I have to introduce you to my new boyfriend!" She squeals as she drags me down the hall

"Wait what happened to Jason?!" I say in shock

Did I really miss a lot?? I mean they've been dating since grade 8, everyone thought they were perfect for each other..

"Well if you weren't ignoring me you would've known, but I'll tell you after school" she grins as we come to a stop in front of a big group of guys

And all of them were eyeing me up and down,

What the hell is it with people staring. Damn.

My eyes grow wide as I notice who they actually were.

I grab maddy by her arm and yank her away from the group

"Ouch Sky what the-" she screams as I pull her around the corner

"Um do you know who they are! Not to mention that one of them happen to be the one who torments me!" I whisper/scream as I run my hands through my hair

"Yes I knoww its just they've matured! And with you looking all smoking hot they most likely won't recognize you, plus you always told me how you would totally date him if he wasn't a dick." She stats as she smacks on her gum, an annoying habit she has.

"I guess you're right but what if he does recognize me! I haven't changed that much!" I say as she starts pulling me towards the group again

"Don't worry about it sky, and come on live for once! YOLO" she screams earning us weird looks from others as she continues pulling towards the group of asswipes

"You did NOT just say yolo.." I say as she looks at me, we both start laughing hysterically as one of the guys clear his throat

"Oh hey boys!" She says in her high pitched voice while throwing on the biggest fake smile I've ever seen

I roll my eyes as I start examining each of them

But there's one missing... Jai Brooks.

Hopefully he finally got caught and is in jail suffering. Harsh I know but he damn well deserves it.

I get pulled from my thoughts as maddy pulls on my arm

"Huh?" I say clearly not paying attention

"I saidd, why don't we all get together after school and hang!!" She says in the same annoying voice

"Sure.." I say rolling my eyes as I catch.. Beau I think was his name checking me out while biting his lip

I about to throw up. But it is quite amusing how none of them notice who I really am.

I give him a smirk as I turn around strutting to my first class

"Skyyy walk with me and Daniel!!" She squeals as she takes Daniels hand

I have to admit they are really cute together even though he will just use her for sex.

"I think I should head to my first class I don't want to be late" I say as she gives me the puppy dog eyes but ends up walking away with her new man candy

Once I got to my class I sat down in the table towards the back

I pull out my phone and check through Twitter as I feel someone pull out a chair that was next to mine and sit

I glance up as i was about to introduce myself hopefully making a new friend

"Hello I'm Sk-" I say as my smile drops and my eyes almost pop out of my head.
