Kylie's POV:
Nash was an enjoyable character. He would consistently throw random articles of clothing into my arms, no matter the size, color, or item. He was my own personal fashion guru- although, if it was up to myself, I would most definitely not pick him again.
Once he decided that he had loaded me up with enough outfits to fill two closets, he shoved me into the dressing room, waiting out side the door.
While actively sifting through the clothes he so gracefully threw onto me, I notice that he really didn't give a care as to what he was picking up. There was the most atrocious colors and patterns on the clothes— such as puke yellow, and zebra print. Really, who wears this?
Yea, I am absolutely NOT going to try any of these clothes on. I walk out and throw them back onto Nash, who has moved into laughter. Yea, he thinks he's hilarious.
Looks like today may actually turn out good....Riley's POV:
Talking with Jack was relaxing. I really enjoyed getting to know him, and learning more about this event that we would soon be attending alongside the boys.
"So VidCon is actually really fun, I think you'd enjoy it." He says, smiling.
"How many years have you all been attending?" I question, unsure if I should completely trust his word.
"Hmm, well this will be our third year." Okay. Maybe I can take his word for it.
"I'll trust you; however, if I have a horrible time, you owe me." I laugh.
He nods in agreement, "Shake on it?" I connect my hand with his, and we seal the deal.
After chatting for a little while longer, we decide to walk around and explore the mall— as opposed to just sitting in the Food Court as we had been for the past couple of hours.
We begin walking, and eventually come across a kiosk that has the automatic animal rides that people can ride around the mall on. Of course, we had to try them.
I choose the lion, and Jack rightfully chooses the horse.
"I'll race you to the end of the hallway and back." He smirks at me. I can never turn down a good challenge, and nod at him.
We count to three, and take off. Now, he'll say I cheated; however, I just decided the countdown didn't apply to me. So long story short, I won completely fair and square, despite what Jack Johnson has to say about it.
After we had finished out time with the animal cycles, we continues to wander around the mall, walking into random stores that happened to be around the area. Neither of us had felt like actually spending money, so we just window-shopped. I could feel my phone vibrating, so I pulled it out of my pocket, and unlocked it. Turns out we were all put in a group chat— great I LOVE group chats. That being said, I really only knew Kiley's number, and had to figure out the rest of the mystery numbers.
Kiley: Hey everyone! Welcome to the group chat. This message to to let everyone know that you will have approximately 12 minutes to return to the van, or you will be stranded. I repeat, 12 minutes.
That message was sent 8 minutes ago.
I look at Jack, and he returns my glance. Without speaking a word, we take off, running, towards the van.
As we are sprinting across the mall, I notice several pairs of the others moving in the same direction. At least we wont be the last ones.
We exit the food court doors, just as the van is getting started up.
"There's no way we're gonna make it." I breathe out. Jack just grabs my arm, full-speed sprinting towards the van, not letting up once.
By some miracle, we make it to the van with a minute to spare, and Kylie is just leaning against the doors with a smirk on her face.
"I see you guys got my text?" I roll my eyes, and buckle over, attempting to get air back into my body while we stand there laughing. She wasn't going to leave any of us here, she just wanted to see us suffer.
We wait a couple of minutes for the rest of the group to arrive— out of breath, of course— and then pile back into the van, heading back towards Kylie's house.
On the way back to the house, I sit between Jack and Taylor, with Nash and Kylie in the front, and the rest of the group in the seats behind me. I take this opportunity to figure out who's number's are who's.
"Okay, can everyone please text their name into the group chat, so I can put your numbers into my phone?"
My phone automatically starts buzzing off the hook. I follow suit, and input everyone's contact's into my list. Then, I notice a new text message.
