What To Expect

Chapter 10

            

               ~Louis' POV~

 The next few days have been kind of quiet. Everyone has been in their own little world. We leave to go back to London in a week. I dropped by Autumn's work the day after we talked and told her it was my intention to leave my phone just so she'd listen to it again. She seemed to be acting differently when I saw her and none of us have heard from her since then. None of us have really tried to get a hold of her, trying to give her time and space.

It's been pretty boring. No drama, no energy, not even Niall eating a lot- alright. That hasn't changed.

Zayn, Liam and I are sitting on the sofa watching 'Friends' while Harry and Niall have been in each others rooms talking all day. Management cancled our next concert here because Harry hasn't been focusing. I was sure he could manage to get through the concert but management thought different.

"Hey, who wants to drive by the hair salon?" I asked.

"I do!" Niall said as he came out of his room.

"Anyone else?" I asked. No one moved.

"Alright, Nouis is leaving! Come along, Niall." I said as we walked out the door and down to our rental car.

When we got to the salon, we watched to see if we could see Autumn. I couldn't see her, but I could see her friend.

"Let's go see if she's in there." I said. Niall nodded and we got out of the car.

We walked in and her friend was sweeping.

"Hey, uh.. I forgot your name.." I said to her.

She turned to face us.

"What are you doing here?" she asked.

"We just wanted to see if Autumn was here." I said.

"No, she left to go pick up her child at daycare." she said.

Damn. I was really hoping she'd be here.

Niall and I sighed and walked towards the door.

"Wait." she said. We turned to face her and she put the broom down.

"My shift ends in ten minuets. I have some questions for you guys." she said. I nodded and we sat down in the waiting chairs.
