"How?" I asked.
"Let me see her. Tonight." ***
"I don't think so. My parents are watching her, I have plans."
"So cancel it with them! Let me watch her! C'mon, please!" he seemed really excited.
"I don't know, Harry. You don't know anything about her, you don't kno how to handle her. She's a really quirky kid."
"This will be my chance to get to know her! And I can deal with quirky." he smirked.
I sighed.
"C'mon. You can trust me with her. I would never do anything you wouldn't do to her. Please, let me watch her, tonight. If things go bad- which they wouldn't- you don't have to let me watch her again. Please, Autumn."
"I.. I can't believe I'm saying this.." I sighed again.
"So you'll let me?" he asked with a big smile.
I turned to face Ronnie in the back seat.
"Do you want to have Harry watch you, tonight?" I asked.
"But what about the birdie!" she asked, sounding bummed.
"I can take you to see a birdie," Harry said.
I turned back to face him.
"You have a bird?"
"No, but I can take her to the pet store. They have birds there." he smiled.
"Ooh! Is dere kitties dere, too!" she asked excitedly.
"Yeah! There's kitties there!" Harry said back.
"Okay! I want Hawwy to watch me!" Ronnie squealed. I sighed and Harry did a fist pump.
"Great! So I'll be by to pick her up at.." he looked at me.
