* FLASH BACK *

Glass.
Was that the noise of glass shattering, she thought?
She ran downstairs as fast as her little legs could carry her.
She heard her dad, yelling.

"WHAT THE FUCK" yelled her dad.

She stopped herself from entering the living room.
She peaked around the corner, holding her breath, hoping no one would see her.

All she saw was her mom, dad, her two sisters, and her brother.

Everything was in slow motion.

Her dad tried to reach for her, with sympathy in his eyes.
She looked down at his arm, then up at him.
She stepped back before it could touch her.
She turned around.
That's when she realized the things that were broken.
The memories that were destroyed.

The police came.
Blue and red flashing lights is all she saw.
She was standing next to a police man in his early twenties, when she saw her dad walk out in handcuffs.

She was only 4..
