Chapter 8

*****Brooklyn's POV*****

***4 months later***

I hear people yelling around me in argument about something. "She hasn't woken up so we have to turn her life support off now!" A man yells. "You can't do that! Our kid needs her and I don't want to see her and our new baby die!" A familiar voice yells back. I open my eyes only to be blinded by the light. I blink a few more times and look around, now sitting up. I spot Niall standing there with and unknown doctor. Niall looks over at me as I take the breathing mask off and take a large intake of air. "Brooke." He sighs, turning toward me to reveal a sleeping Cody. I smile and reach my arms out for Cody. He's instantly handed to me and his eyes open to look up at me. "Mama?" He asks. My eyes widen and I look up to Niall. "He's been asking about for two months now. His first word was Mama." He explains. I nod and turn back to Cody. "How's my baby boy?" I ask. He squeals and claps his hands at me. "Mrs Horan. I would like to inform you that you are 6 months pregnant and Doctor Stevenson would like to give you an ultrasound." The man says. I nod and turn back to Cody. The door opens and I look up to see Doctor Stevenson wheeling in and ultrasound machine. Niall quickly takes Cody into his arms. I look down and see larger bump than I did with Cody.

Niall quickly leads me through the crowd of fans as I hold onto Cody tightly. We load into the car and take off home. "So twins." I say. Niall smiles over at me. "A boy and a girl." He sighs.

Louis runs over to me and pulls me into a side hug the second we step inside the house. "How's the baby going? Niall texted me saying that you woke up and found out the gender." He asks. I roll my eyes and hand him the ultrasound pictures. "TWINS?! NIALL YOU ARE SO DEAD!" He screams and charges towards Niall, who runs out the door. I lift Cody up from beside me and lock the door closed. I head to the kitchen and start pulling out random foods to eat. I hear banging on the front door and sit down. "NIALL! THE NANDOS IS IN THERE!" Louis yells. I dig into my food as I listen to them fight.

I open the door after hiding the Nandos bag in my stomach. Niall bolts inside and I teasingly burp. He screams in horror and runs towards the kitchen. "Did you eat it?" Louis whispers. I nod and he bursts out laughing. Niall runs back in tears. "It's gone." He pouts, looking at me sadly. I open my arms to him and he runs in for a hug.

***1 week later***

I laugh as Louis hits Niall with his paint brush in our new house. We didn't have enough room in the old house to raise the twins and Cody with alot of space. We're now in a very large house where Niall has his Mancave away from the house. Liam runs in with Harry as Niall splats paint all over Louis' face. Liam quickly pulls the apart and drags them outside to hose off.

***1 month later***

I laugh as Cody babbles on while I try to feed him. "Baby. You gotta stay still." I sigh. He stares up at me and pouts. "Full Mama. Dada?" He states. I nod and close the jar of baby food, putting it in the fridge. I lift Cody out of his high chair and head out to Niall's Mancave. I push the door open and the guys look up at me. "Cody wanted to be here with you so here he is. I'll be taking a nap while you're here. See you later." I say, passing Cody to Niall and heading back to the house.

***1 month later***

Niall has been going to work more often now to do recording for the new album for his boy band. Right now I sit with Cody, who is busy watching blues clues, while the babies are kicking me at a rapid pace while cramps shoot through me. Mom walks out of the kitchen and sits beside Cody. "Mama pee pee!" Cody laughs at me. "I'll called Maura." Mom gasps, rushing to grab our things.

I lay in the hospital room waiting the nurses to bring the twins back in, when Niall runs in. "I'm so sorry that I'm late!" He gasps. Maura walks in with Cody and shakes her head at him. "It doesn't matter anymore. You missed the whole thing when your mom called you an hour before I had to start pushing. So if you think I'm not mad at you after that. Think again." I scowl at him. The door opens and the nurse wheels the twins into the room. "Doctor Stevenson said that you and the babies are allowed to leave in an hour because you're doing fine at the moment. But if you feel any pain you have to come back here." Nurse Courtney says. "Thanks Court. I'll see you in two months with the girls?" I say. "Sure thing. The girls are bring their babies to your place so the boys can watch them. This is going to be so much fun!" She cheers. Niall opens his mouth in horror but I send him a look.

I set Ella down in her crib as Niall puts Evan in his. Alfie runs in and looks up at me with big eyes. I lift him up and head into Cody's room to check on him. He lays on ground with his eyes closed and soft snores coming out of him. I put Alfie down and lift Cody up. I place him in his crib and place his teddy bear beside him before heading out of the room. I walk into my bedroom and see Niall standing there. "When were you going to tell me about your girls day out with friends?" He snaps. I frown and push past him. "I told you two weeks ago when you had the guys round. You all agreed while playing your video games in your stupid man cave." I snap pulling out a pair of pj's.
