*****Niall's POV*****

I place Cody on his bed and storm out of the room. I slam the door and head downstairs. I spot Brooke sitting and a smile grows on my face. I place a hand on her shoulder and she turns to me in shock. "How did you get in here?" I ask, backing away quickly as I see someone who isn't my wife. She stalks over to me and places a hand on my shoulder. "You left the door open when you came in here just before." She explains. I back away and hit the wall. She grins at me and presses me harder against it. I hear a car pull up and her lips smash into mine. I press my hands against her shoulders and try pushing her away. "Niall?! Are you back yet?!" Brooke calls out. I shove the girl away from me and run away from her. I'm slammed into the ground and I scream out in pain. A few sets of feet come running and I turn to see Brooke standing there in shock. She helps me up quickly and smiles at me. I wrap her in a hug and place a kiss on her lips. I hear a gasp and pull away. I look up to see Brooke in tears and push away from the girl I was hugging. "How could you?!" Brooke cries out. "She got into our house when I brought Cody inside and up to his room. I walked into the living room to see her sitting there and thought she was you from behind. I tapped her shoulder and saw it wasn't. I got backed against the wall and she kissed me. I pushed her away and ran for it. I fell over, thought you helped me up and kissed her. Then you came in and I found out it wasn't you." I explain quickly. "Mate. That's messed up." Liam states as Brooke runs off. I shake my head and turn to the girl. "Get out now." I snap. She nods and quickly runs out of the house. I run up the stairs and barge into mine and Brooke's room to see her packing a bag. "Where are you going?" I whimper. "Away for the weekend. I'll be back on Monday." She states. I nod and take her packed bag to her car.

I lay cuddled up with the kids on my bed in the late morning, watching a movie when the front door shuts. Alfie takes off out of the room and starts barking. He suddenly stops and I perk up. Ella quickly climbs off the bed and runs out the door. "MOMMA!" I hear her squeal. I quickly run out and see Brooke kneeling beside Ella's while they hug. I clear my throat and she looks up at me. "Ella. Why don't you head upstairs? I need to talk to Daddy." She says. Ella pulls away and runs off. "Niall." She says. I step toward her and open my arms. She closes the gap and hugs me. I wrap my arms tightly around her and sigh. "I'm sorry." I whimper. She looks up at me and shakes her head. "It's okay. I completely understand what happened and I overreacted to the whole thing." She says lightly.

***3 months later***

I lead Brooke through the clinic and into the ultrasound room so we can find out the gender. "Hi, Mr. and Mrs. Horan! Take a seat and we can get started." The doctor in charge of our family says. We quickly position ourselves in the room, me in a chair and Brooke on the bed.

I carry the very tired Brooke upstairs to our room after arriving back from the ultrasound. I kiss her forehead and tuck her under the covers. I smile and quickly head down to the kitchen to see a picture of our old dog, Alfie, who was hit by a car last month. Both Brooke and Cody were devastated by the loss of our beloved pet, so I've been looking up pet places around town. I smile as I see a place with kittens and puppies. I rush upstairs and lift Ella out of her crib since she is the only one in the room awake. I change her out of her pyjamas and set off.

Ella squeals in delight as I walk into the store. "Careful Ella. They're trying to have a nap." I say, placing her down. She takes off toward the puppies and I quickly follow behind her.

I spot my daughter trying to look into a pen and I lift her up. I look inside the pen and see a black girl puppy and a brown boy puppy. Ella squeals in delight and I smile at her. "Are we getting them for Momma?" I ask. The little girl nod furiously and I laugh.

I walk into the house with the carrier to see Cody crying in the corner. I walk further inside and set the carrier down by the kitchen door. I place Ella down. I walk into the kitchen to see Brooke feeding Evan. "Where did you run off to earlier?" She questions. I smirk and take the food away from her and place it on the counter. I grab her hand and pull her out of the room. She spots the carrier and gasps in shock. "Is that what I think it is?" She asks. I nod and open the cage door and lift out the two puppies. "Their Pugs!" Brooke squeals and takes them into her arms. Ella giggles as Brooke hugs the pugs close to her chest while they lick her. Cody appears in the doorway and I signal for him to come over to me. He quickly runs over and I crouch down to hug him. "Meet Miss. Teddy and Mr. Bear, Momma!" Ella says, pointing to each of the pugs with their names. "what perfect names, Ellie. I love them." Brooke says placing the puppies down and lifting Ella into her arms. Cody moves forward and begins to pat Teddy and Bear. Evan begins whining about not being able to see our new pets so I move over to him and let him out of the highchair. He quickly heads over to where his big brother is and starts to pet the puppies as well.
