I stayed in the treehouse long enough to see sky running back to the village. I jumped down and asked her what was wrong to which she responded they wouldn't give me this ingredient. They said Ma was trifling with black magic.
"Let me see,"she handed me a piece of paper and once I read it, I dropped it and walked back, bumping into the tree."She couldn't be,"I muttered.
"What?"Sky said, her eyes filling with fear.
"I'm leaving the village. I can't stay here anymore,"I said putting everything into my satchel.
"What? Why?"
"They found me!"I exclaimed.
"Who found you!" I turned around and stood very close to her. I could feel her breath on my chest. I grabbed her chin and tilted her head up so our eyes met.
