Myah's House

4:30 am

Myah

I don't know about you but, I am not a morning person. I pressed the button that would unlock my car and literally dragged myself into the seat. While sticking the key in the ignition I glanced at the radio clock and noticed it was 4:30 a.m. I rolled my eyes and backed out ever so slowly from my driveway and be began my forty-minute drive to a new job. I decided to tone it down a bit and wear a simple olive dress with some nude open toe heels complimented by a slick bun to show my face. Usually I would have a face beat for the Gods but today I'm just not in the mood.

Last Friday, when I was with Kendrick, we were talking about the whole stalking- shenanigan but he got this weird call and immediately ushered me out of his house and apologized the whole time. Surprisingly I am completely clueless at who he was talking to because at this day it could be the fucking  Dali Llama for all I know. So yeah, that's just been on my mind and kind of stressing me out because slowly but surely I feel like I cannot vent to anyone.

In the distance the parking deck for building A began to appear and I quickly switched lanes and turned my car into where the front gates were. I rolled down my window and saw how much parking was. I almost cried. Wait until I get my badge for this damn building; there will be no more tears. I unwillingly pulled out 15.75 just like the meter blurted out in a automated tone and proceeded to find a spot. After searching for what felt like a needle in a haystack, I began my long walk to the parking decks elevator.

The bell dinged and the doors opened. I stepped in cautiously, I don't play that hockey mask murderer shit, and drooled over the ceiling again as I waited to reach the main floor. The doors finally opened again and I walked over to the receptionist I met the other day when I came in for an interview.

"Ms Simmons! Oh you're early aren't you dear?" she squealed with so much goddamn enthusiasm.

"Yeah, the dead has risen. But Good Morning... " I trailed off trying to remember her name.

"Perscilla and Good Morning to you too!" she finally announced.

"Oh yeah. Right. Perscilla." I replied slowly.

"Oops! I almost forgot." she burst again in excitement while rummaging through her drawer.

I held out my hand and took my employee badge from her.

"There you are! your very own badge; now you won't have to pay the parking any more. Oh and there is coffee over there behind you. Good luck on your first day!" she wished  me and I proceeded to go to the other elevator instead of drinking coffee; it's bad for the teeth.
