"Jack! Jack! Stop! Please, I'm begging you!" Tyler pleaded. Jack ignored him and kept sending blows to his stomach. "You disgust me. Gay people should suck it up and stop pretending to like boys. It's all for attention" jack spat at the mangled body.
The third period bell rang and he left the bathroom, slamming the door behind him. He heard whimpers from the other side of the door but just smirked to himself and walked to his class. As the late bell rang, he took a seat next to his girlfriend. They were what most people would consider a "match made in heaven". He was tall and muscular while she was petite with the face of an angel. "Hi Holly. What's up babe?" He said as the teacher, Mr. Jared walked into the room. "You were supposed to meet me at my locker so we could walk together" she frowned.
He looked down and smirked. "I had-more important matters to take care of." She glared at him, clearly not accepting the fact that she was less important than what he was doing. Jack shrugged it off and turned to face the teacher. The lesson began and Jack soon drifted off to a daydream. He was snapped out of it when the shrill ringing of the phone went off. Mr. Jared spoke in a hushed voice as he conversed with the person on the phone. Finally, the phone clicked back into place and Mr. Jared stormed over to Jack's desk.
"They want to see you in the office" he growled. Jack snatched his books up and strutted across the classroom to the door. He shut the door and winked through the window earning several giggles from the girls.
"May I help you?" He asked the secretary at her desk. "Go to the principal's office. It's down this hall. Mrs. Shana is waiting for you" she said. Jack walked past her and approached the door to the office. As the knob turned, he caught a glimpse of an unsightly human. Tyler. He seemed to be covered in bandages and had streaks of blood dripping down his back.
Mrs. Shana spoke in an authoritative tone. "It seems to me, Jack, that you have abused this poor boy. He claims that you hit him because of his sexuality. Is that correct?" Tyler refused to make eye contact with him. "Yes, ma'am. I did. In my defense, however, he deserved it" Jack spoke calmly. She sentenced him to 3 days of suspension and detention for a week. She also made him promise to leave Tyler alone.
After the final bell rang, Jack rushed outside to meet his girlfriend by the oak tree. She was standing there with her blonde hair blowing in the wind. When she saw him coming, her expression was blank. "Why were you sent to the office?" She asked. He chuckled and replied," I beat up some stupid gay kid and apparently that's WRONG". Anger grew on Holly's face although Jack couldn't figure out why. "Gay people are NOT STUPID and you should be nice to everybody. It doesn't matter who they like. You know what? I think we should break up." She said, on the verge of tears. "Why?" He questioned. "I'm bisexual." She whispered barely audible. "SO IVE BEEN DATING A GIRL WHO COULD HAVE BEEN CHEATING ON ME WITH ANOTHER GIRL?!" He screamed. " that means nothing! You need to be more accepting of others. I've been completely loyal to you. Just because I like girls and guys doesn't mean I'm going to leave you for a girl!" Tears were rolling down her face now as she tried to push past him. He put his hand on her shoulder and pushed her back up against the tree forcefully. Then, he stormed into the street.
*bang*. In an instant, Jack was on the cement lying lifeless with a nervous driver running out of their car and sirens blaring in the distance.
