I freak out on the inside, but try to act chill on the out side, and give him a quick closed mouth smile as I try to walk around him, but before I can I see his hand shoot In my way.

I watch his hand trying not to look up at him but he doesn't move until I do. "Something you want?" I ask trying to keep my voice level.

"No. Just.. Do I know you? I would remember a pretty face like yours, refresh my memory." He finishes wearing a cocky smile.

"I would remember a face like yours if I new you but I guess I don't so i'll be on my way." I say trying to get past his hand again.

I get past and start to walk away but before I can get a meter away he grabs my wrist. oh no oh no oh no! I chant inside my head.

I feel something cool moving across the palm of my hand, but am to afraid to look, when it stops I take my hand back and look down at it.

It has a phone number on it, I look back up to see Chris walking away making a phone shape with his thumb and pinking holding it up to his ear miming 'call me' with his mouth, he winks and walks away.

That was a close one, I sigh and lean against the wall whipping away the beads of sweat I hope he didn't see. Wait this means he must be going to school here to, I frown this is going to be harder than I thought a school term could be. Should I tell Tristan and Joseph about my fight with Chris in the woods? Wouldn't that make them even more protective over me? And I already can't stand them. Lets just wait and see how things play out.

I push my self off of the wall and walk down the stairs to the main entrance to say good bye to Joseph. Almost falling and killing myself three times but make it.

The huge room has emptied a little but still is full with students. I stand on a high up stair to try and spot Joseph. No such luck, I walk down the stairs and try to find him on foot.

I walk for about fifteen minutes and finally spot him standing at the table that signs you in, I watch for about three more minutes and see him being handed a folder like mine. I put two and two together.

I walk over to him all huffy and mad from being elbowed in the ribs six times. "What do you think your doing?" I ask when I finally get over to were he is.

"What does it look like?" He asks holding up a school folder. Ask a stupid question get a stupid answer.

"But I thought it was just me and Tristan starting school." I say.

"Well I thought I may as well tag along. also I made sure I have all the same classes as you, so I can keep an eye on you when Tristan's doing Sport."

"Whatever." I grumble. I hear a speaker. "All students new, and old please make your way to the theater at the left of the school." Says a woman's clear voice. Tristan comes up next to me and entwines his fingers with mine.

"What are you doing?" I yell at him in a hushed tone so no one hears whilst pulling my hand out of his. He gives my a confused look "we are dating." He says, like he's stating the obvious.

He holds out his hand waiting for me to place mine back in his. I grudgingly put my hand in his cool hand.

Truthfully I didn't mind holding hands with him, I blushed thinking about liking him for real. If that could ever happen, I scold my self.

We walk following the other students in front of us until we make it to a huge pair of double doors wide open. and I see a huge stage and a least a thousand chair.

My palms feel sweaty and I feel sorry for Tristan holding my other hand. I hear a girl in front of me whispering to her friend. "I hear there doing it again this year." "What?" Whispers back her friend. "You know what they did last year to the student make them stand one by one up on stage and talk about them selves."

"Did you hear that?!" I squeak in Tristan's ear frantically. "No, what?" He replies confused. "We have to get up on stage and talk about our selves!" I say hyperventilating. "Calms down." He coos to me.

My heart rate slows down but my cheeks heat up. I feel really sorry for Tristan having to go through the river of sweat pouring from my hands.

We take a seat at the front of the stage, and wait. "I am not good with attention." I whisper to Tristan. "If you want i'll come up with you cutie." He says giving my a cheeky grin.

I look down and hope my hair is hiding my face from his view. Wow am I a beetroot today.

Finally I hear a microphone being taped, and then the woman's voice we heard on the loud speaker, I look up to see a lady with grey hair In a tight bun on the back of her head wearing mostly grey.

"Welcome everyone." She says smiling like a cheesier cat. "This school year we have an astounding number of new students how would we like to get to know some of them?" I hear a cheer go out from the crowd. "Well I have a list here of some of them. Will-" she looks down at the clip bored she's holding. "Joseph Ray come up?" I see Joseph stand up next to me and walks up the stairs.

I swear I hear all the girls sigh at the sight of him.

"Why don't you tell us a little bit about your self? How about starting with your age?" The little old lady says.

"Well I'm nineteen, like sport, have three people in my family at home, and I'm single." He says winking at a group of girls.

I think I see two of them faint. "Well um thank you Jo, do you mind if I call you that?" He shakes his head and walks back down the stairs to his seat next to me.

"Well next we have-" she looks Back down at her list. "Katy Lasen."

I feel the helicopters start in my belly. Tristan stands up and pulls me with him up the stairs, still holding hands.

He takes hold of the mic. "Hi." He says flashing everyone a golden smile "I'm Tristan and I'm here to help my little cutie bear here, she gets a bit nervousness when she's on stage." He says giving everyone a pouty face. That I can't help blushing at.

"Here babe." he hands the mic to me and wraps his hand around my waist.

"H-hi everyone." I say giving a crooked smile. "Well I'm seventeen, soon to be eighteen. I like um stuff and um yeah." I finish awkwardly. I turn to walk away but when I turn my head Tristan's lips crash into mine. The sweetness of his lips hits me and I try to move my lips but he pulls away to fast, and waves the crowed good bye I lick my lips still tasting his against mine.

I stumble down the stairs him dragging me along. He sits down in his chair I fall down in mine. From the corner of my eye I see Tristan wearing a cocky smirk, he entwines my fingers with his again.

The rest of the talk goes on but I can't concentrate, not after that. When done everyone pushes and shoves there way out.

"Um thank you." I say to Tristan. "For?" He asks "for coming up there with me." I reply "no problem, what are boyfriends for." Haha yeah." I say lamely.

"Well she said we can go to the games room now do you want to? I hear there having a party." He says excitedly.

"I don't know." I say unsure. "To late your coming, go change into something nice and meet me at the stairs cutie." He says winking and walking away.

I've never been to a party before. Well there always a first, and I know just what to wear.
