Previously on Facade,
"And speaking of adventures, come with me."
"Where? When?"
"Where, I don't know. When, right now." Alex shrugged.
"Are you crazy? You can't ditch school!" I whispered.
"Like you said the other day, I'm a rebel. I do what I want. Besides, I've been a saint for too long. You coming?" Alex stood up.
I contemplated about it.
"Of course." Alex grinned and let out his hand which I took it.
"Where are you guys going?" Harry asked.
"We're ditching." I said before walking out of the cafeteria with Alex.

"Where's your car?"
I looked around for a blue car but found none.
"Who said anything about cars?" Alex neared a motorcycle.
"A bike?" I asked, feeling excited.
"Really? I thought it's a car." Alex said sarcastically.
I rolled my eyes. "Well excuse me for being excited. I've never been on one before." I admitted.
"Then aren't you gonna feel scared or something? I thought most girls do."
"The keyword is 'most'. Besides I'm not most girls."
"I know. You're one of a kind." He flashed a dazzling smile that made my stomach flip.
"Hop on." I gave Alex a pointed look.
"I'm never going to do that again." I crossed my arms and pout.
Alex laughed and strapped a helmet on my head. Then he fished out another helmet from his bike compartment and put in on.
He sat on the bike. "Do you know how to sit?"
I shook my head.
"Okay hold my shoulders for support. First, rest your nearest feet on the nearest leg rest then swing your other leg to the other side." Alex instructed me. Once I did, Alex started the engine.
"Brace yourself." The bike launched forward.
Since it is in the middle of day, there isn't much vehicles on the road so Alex is free to speed on the road.
"This is so much fun!" I shouted.
"I know! Hold on!" Alex speed up.
I feel like I'm flying! And it feels great with the wind blowing on my face. I stretched my arms apart like Rose's famous pose on the Titanic.
Eventually, great things have to end too, and we find ourselves at another town's county fair.
"Oh my god! I've always wanted to go to the county fair!" I clapped my hands enthusiastically.
"Alright come on!" Alex grinned as he took my hand.
He's holding my hand! He's holding my hand! It made me feel really jumpy right now. He never released his hand from mine the whole time! Well, except when he bought our tickets and during the rides.
"So where do you wanna go first?" Alex asked me.
I look around. There are lots of rides, ranging from high ones to the low ones. Food stalls scattered everywhere and I can smell the mouth-watering scent of the funnel cakes and corndogs.
