Chapter 23 - How's He Doing?

**Emma's POV**

　

As I opened the door with my keys I really tried hard to keep focused on it. I was shaking and I have no idea why.

"Here let me." Robert hovered his hand over mine and gently brushed his hand on mine to grasp the keys.

I don't know what's gotten into me, but after that kiss ... That's all I want to do. Kiss him, feel his skin on mine, be as close as possible to him. I've missed him so much. Yes I know that's weird and all since we're just friends and I've only known him for such a short period of time, but that's actually not true. I've known Robert Villanueva friend of Austin Mahone for such a long time I've always wanted to meet him and basically wanted anything that has to do with him. I was such a fan of him for so long. Now that he's actually here and I know him personally. He's not really Robert Villanueva friend of Austin Mahone the singer anymore. He's just Robert a normal guy, friends with Austin, who's also a normal guy.

"Thanks." I spoke quietly as he handed me my keys.

We walked in and he sat on the couch. As I went straight to the kitchen. I closed the doors and started jumping around everywhere. I can't believe I kissed him! I kissed Robert, and he kissed back! As I did my little happy dance I mistakenly hit the dish rack with my hand and plastic cups fell everywhere.

"You alright in there Emma?" Robert asked as I heard footsteps approaching the kitchen door.

I quickly tried to fix my shirt and hair. I bent down to pick up the cups quickly and I heard the door open.

"Just peachy!" I stayed there trying to calm my breathing then finally started to get back up.

"Oh well I'm a bit parched. Can I have some water?"

"Sure." I got him some water and decided to get myself a cup as well.

I chugged mine down and looked at Robert just to find him staring at me.

"What?"

"Nothing, you just have a little piece of cake in your hair ..."

"Oh almost forgot. I'm just going to jump in the shower. I'll be out in a jiffy!" I yelled as I continued walking to my room.

"Emma wait!" He yelled as I started walking back into the kitchen.

"What?"

"Who says 'jiffy'?"

"Really? Leave me alone." I heard his laugh and I couldn't help but giggle a bit as I started walking back to the bathroom in my room.

　

**30 Minutes Later**

　

As I came out of my bathroom with my towel loosely around my dripping body, I noticed something. I quickly held my towel closer to my body.

"Umm Robert? What are you doing in here?" He quickly stopped what he was doing and sat up straight on my bed.

"Ohhh I didn't hear you come out. I just was bored out in the living room so I decided to come in here and just chill on your bed."

"Alright then. Well I need to change so can you leave?"

"Your bed is so comfortable though! I promise I won't look just let me stay! Please?"

"Robert, don't give me those eyes! I'll only take like ten minuets."

"Come on Emma you don't trust me?"
