Chapter 4 - The Serenading

**Emma's POV**

"OMG AUSTIN PICKED YOU!!" I said not believing what was happening right know.

"Yeah I know." Sophia said not so happily.

She said it more like she was disappointed. Why would SHE be disappointed right know?

"What's wrong you should be happy about this? Girls would kill to be in your position right now." I said trying to understand what was going on inside of her head.

"I just really was hoping he wouldn't pick me, but no he just HAD to pick me out of everybody in this concert ME! I don't even know or like this kid why would he pick me! I hate him right know with all my guts." That's all she go to say before security had taken her to go up on stage.

I was so shocked by her answer. I couldn't believe that's how she felt. I hope she will still go see him after the concert with me. And I most definitely hope she changes her feelings towards him. I mean I hope that they can at least be friends at this point.

**Austin's POV**

I knew the perfect girl for this song. Sophia. I've been waiting all night for this. Once I saw her I couldn't get her out of my mind. That's how I knew we needed to at least be friends, even thought I kind of wanted to be more. When I chose her she looked shocked. That's what I was going for. I wanted to surprise her. I look at her again and she looked kind of mad-shocked-confused all at once. Now I was confused on why she would look like that. Did she not want me to pick her? I hope she wasn't mad at me. Shit Austin what did you just do. You better have not of messed this up. I mentally slapped myself.

"Hey! What's your name beautiful?"

"Sophia." She said plainly with no expression one so ever.

"That's a very pretty name." I meant every thing.

Her name was pretty and she was beautiful. She didn't answer as I directed her to the chair that she was going to sit in so I could serenade her. The music started and I started to serenade her.

At this point it looked like I had gotten her attention, because now she was looking at me right in the eyes and she looked teary eyed, but she looked happy? Wow was it me or is she really moody today? Right there I got closer to her and hugged her.

To finish the song I decide to go give Sophia a kiss on the check. Just a meaning less little kiss. I went up to her from behind to do so. I was millimeters away from her check when right there and then I will never forget that moment. Sophia turned to the side that I was just millimeters away from kissing and I ended up kissing her on the lips! Her lips where so soft, everything I imagined. I could tell she wasn't expecting that kiss, because she went as still as a rock. It was just a peck so I quickly look up to the crowd and everybody in the crowd all had the same face on. It looked something similar to this :O. I laughed to my self at their faces. I look back at Sophia and she's redder than a tomato and still in what looked like shock. She ran off stage to God knows where I wanted to run after her, but I couldn't just leave the crowd. Right? I say goodbye to the crowd and left to see if I could find her, but I couldn't. So I just went to the van to get a little break before meeting just a couple of my fans. Shit I forgot I gave Emma and Sophia back stage passes too. Oh gosh what is Robert going to say when he found out that we kissed? Are my Mahomies going to be mad? I hope not it was by accident...it wasn't meant to happen...not now at least in my mind...I hope she feels the same way I feel for her. This wasn't supposed to happen, but hey everything happens for a reason! Right?
