While Hermione and Olivia were just talking at the corridor and Ron and Harry were still walking around an announcement was made for all student to go to the great hall and gather with there houses.
Later on....
Everyone finally was there and Dumbledore took the stand and announced, "Attention students! I am sorry to inform you but we will not be hosting or participating into the Triwizard Tournament due to the problems we are having with the barrier that keeps muggles out! Please continue to your day."
Noise fluttered in the great hall of disappointment. Ron told Harry, "Bloody hell that means we won't have the Yule ball!" Harry just ignored him thought sad he wasn't going to be able to ask chi Chang to the ball.
