I ran faster than I ever have before to get to Lacey's house. My heart was racing inside my chest. It took forever to get there, as soon as I reached her house I pounded on the door. "Jesus, I'm here." She says opening the door. "Hey." I smile grasping for breath. "I could've picked you up dumb ass" She laughs and lets me in. We walked to her bedroom and I set my bag down. "What time are we leaving in the morning?" I asked. "Probably 8 or 8:30." She said.We started sorting out clothes what we were going to wear on certain days and we planned what we were going to do while at Warped Tour. "Where'd you say this place was again?"
-"Long Island, New York."
-"Holy shit Lacey."
-"What?"
-"Nothing. It's just kinda far."
"That's why we are leaving early." She giggled. We finished packing and planning and it was already one in the morning. "Are you hungry Kace?" She asked me. "No, are you?" I responded. She nodded and asked me if I was good and then left to grab her something to eat from the kitchen. I'm not actually anorexic but I don't particularly like myself that much, I could lose a few pounds. Lacey came back with a sandwich and a bottle of water. We watched a little bit of T.V and then we both fell asleep.
She woke me up in the morning and we both got dressed. It was nothing fancy just jeans and comfy T-shirts. We grabbed our bags, put them in her car and drove off. I felt a great, leaving this place behind but also stressed and nervous. What happens when I don't show up for the next week? And when I come back? What will happen?
