Tougou Rikuya was labelled as 'The Ally Killer'. Everybody thought that he didn't have a heart-that he couldn't care less about his lost teammates. But you knew- you knew that deep down, he actually cared about his friends .
You were one of one of the third platoon's members and was quite close to Rikuya. You knew that his unit was carrying a parasite key and you had to protect it at all costs. However, Rikuya was troubled by the loss of his teammates . He blamed it all on himself. But you knew that it wasn't really his fault. In fact, you admired him for being able to endure the snarky comments the rest of Jenock gave.It wasn't easy being called an ally killer. You often had to comfort Rikuya that what he was doing was for the sake of the world.
But then... During war time, your unit got lost while protecting Rikuya's unit.
As soon as you were out of the control pod, you returned to your room to pack. Truth to be told, you were actually kind of sad to leave Kamui island. You were going to miss Rikuya and the others but your job was done. It was now up to the new member to protect Rikuya's unit.
You woke up early the next morning. You grabbed your bag and made your way towards th dock. You were just about to board the ship when you heard your name being called.
"Rikuya?" You turned behind to look.
"I'm sorry. If it weren't for me, your unit wouldn't wouldn't have been lost..."
"It's alright. Just promise me you'll take care of yourself, okay?" you managed a small smile.
You were about o leave when Rikuya grabbed your hand and pulled you to him. Your head was on his chest and you blushed.
"Rikuya?" you asked.
"Take care of yourself too F/N. I'll contact you when I leave the island," Rikuya said, hugging you.
Your cheeks lit up as his lips suddenly came crashing down onto yours. You were taken aback but soon return the kiss. His lips were surprisingly soft and you felt as if you were in bliss. His right hand travelled onto your face , caressing it gently. You sighed contentedly as he broke the kiss.
"I hope to see you again soon, F'N."
"Me too. Let's meet up someday soon," you smiled as you waved goodbye to Rikuya.
Soon... You'll get to see him again...
