Harmony P.O.V

As I walk into the class room I see that there are a lot of kids in this class. So many that you couldn't even fit another desk in here, even if you tried. The teacher even said, " Harmony, we are kind of a tight fit in here, so we'll just have to get a desk and set it right up here next to mine". The teacher got up and went to go get a desk, I was assuming. As soon as she left, one of the girls stood up and said, " well, in the meantime, why don't you introduce your self to us?"

My heart slightly sped up, I bit my bottom lip and looked at all the kids staring at her.

" Um.. Okay. Hello my name is Harmony Tyler. I am an only child, and-" I was interrupted by the teacher. " Okay class, let's proseed where we left off." She said in a very loud voice. I sat down in my seat and went to set my bag down, and the bottom ripped open, and everything dumped out and slid across the tile floor. So I bent down to pick them up and some of the kids giggled. "Class pay attention!" Mrs. Peterson demanded. I sat back down in my seat and the lesson comtinued.

School was finally over. It was time to get loaded on the bus. I was feeling very embarrassed, so I went and sat in the very back row by myself. I watched everyone pass by out the window.

I get on the bus to find Harmony in the very back row. "Aw shit," I whispered to myself. That's where the 11th graders, Tessa, Susan, and Sandra sit, I remembered. To prevent there from being a beating session, I ran to the back seat, grabbed her arm and pulled her off the seat before the 11th graders came. " What are you doing?" She questioned me, struggling to get away. "Saving your ass from the 11th graders, that's what." I said in a panicky voice.

I pulled her to and empty seat near the front and sat down next to her. Tessa and her friends walked right passed and didn't notice us. "Thank god." I sighed with relief. "What was that all about?" Harmony asked. I turned around and casual gestured toward the 11th graders. "You see them? That seat you were in? That's their spot. If you sit there and they find out, they'll take you 'out back' and beat you up." I whispered to her. " oh... Okay.." She said, obiously now greatful.

We turned around in our seat and she turned to me and stuck out her hand and said, " Hi, my name's Harmony, and you are?" I flung out my hand to shake hers and said, "My names Finch. Nice to meet'cha."
