Chapter Seven- Kitty??

I turned in my homework as I left Ms. Saldivar's class.

"Bye Miss, enjoy the rest of the day."
She gave a pleasant smile, in which I returned.

"You're so nice to the teachers," Aaryanna said.

"That's how you keep a low profile. If someone stole all the money from the school, they wouldn't suspect it was me because I'm such a good kid."

"True as fuck," she said shrugging.

We made our way to the lunchroom. The crowded hallways were like new York traffic.
If you see an opening, take it. Sometimes you even have to be rude and make an opening.

As we approached the table, I saw a new face, and personally, I didn't like it.

Khalif laugh and smiled at the person.

"Umm..." I heard Aaryanna say.

I shushed her.

"You play too much," I heard, follow by a laugh.

I speed walked over.

"Hey goobers," Aaryanna said as she walked to Jayden.

"Hey baby," I said as I sat on the table in front of Khalif.

He pecked my lips.
"Baby girl, this is my old friend Kitana, I like to call her Kitty though," he explained.

Kitty?

"Kitty and I have been friends since we we're, what, nine?"
"No you were ten, I was nine," she giggled.
She looked up at him with goo goo eyes.

"Kitty, we going to the carnival later, you wanna come?"

"Hell yeah! Will you sit next to me on the roller coaster?"

Khalif just chuckled.
My eyes widened.
Aaryanna nudged me.
I breathed out.
"Baby I'll be right back, I have to go to the bathroom," I said before I grabbed his face and kissed him.

As I walked off, I made eyes contact with "Kitty", and it wasn't nice.

"Bye," I fake smiled.
She waived back.

Aaryanna followed me.
"Dude what was that? Who the hell is Kitty? "
"I don't know and I really don't fucking like her," I said bursting into the bathroom.

"Well, if she's coming, I'm coming."
"Thanks babe but I don't need you, no offense," I said pacing.

"Vanessa...are..are you, jealous?" Aaryanna asked.

I pouted.
"Oh my God...yes, yes you are! Look Nessa, you are fucking gorgeous and have nothing to be jealous about! If anything she should be jealous of you," she crossed her arms.

I sighed.

"What was that? What's wrong?" She asked.

It's funny. We've only been friends for a month and she knows me like the back of her hand. Maybe it's because we are our only friends. I don't know.

"It's nothing.. It's just -"

"I knew it! Its never nothing! "

I smiled at her outburst, but it immediately went back to a straight line.

"He just told me he loves me..and I don't wanna loose him so fast.."

Her smile grew wide. "Muva's in love!!" She smiled pinching my cheeks.

I stood, emotionless.
"What's wrong? Why aren't you smiling?" She asked.

"I haven't been this raw with someone. I've showed myself before I even had the chance to put up a front. So yeah, I am jealous. I'm protective of what's mine. He's mine, and I plan on keeping it that way."
