Ava sat impatiently in her room. She didn't want to call instantly and seem needy and scare Zoe away. "I'm gonna call at 7:00 p.m., no sooner no later," Ava repeated to herself. She glanced at the clock, 4:37 p.m. Ava shoved her face into a pillow wishing time would pass quicker. Ava paced around her room trying to entertain herself to make it go by faster but she constantly would think about Zoe. Wondering if she was waiting for her to call or if she was single. She wondered if she even liked girls. Ava began to stress. What if she's straight?!? Ava didn't even think about it until now. What if she was just being nice. What if she has a boyfriend?! Ava laid in bed with her head clouded with all the possibilities of them not being together. Even though that was the one thing Ava craved the most. She wanted to hold Zoe's hand, or look into her eyes right before they kiss. God how badly Ava wanted to kiss her. Ava sat like this until finally she realized it was 7:00 p.m. She jumped quickly and grabbed her phone. She hit the call button and waited. Rings droned on over and over. Ava began to worry at the thought she wouldn't answer when suddenly the phone awoke with the same beautiful voice as earlier that day.
"Hello," Zoe said in almost a question.
"Uh hey, it's Ava from earlier today."
"Oh! Hi! I was wondering if you were gonna call I've been waiting for ages."
"Yea sorry, I was uhm...Sitting in my room thinking about kissing you and wonder if you were straight, -_- I was busy."
"It's cool, so what are you doing this Saturday?"
"Saturday uhm nothing that I know of why?"
"I want to hang out duh, sleepover,my house, be here at 12:00p.m. Okay? Kay."
"Uhm uh okay, sure."
"Great! I'll see you then. Call me tomorrow too so we can talk more. Okay?"
"Yeah I will."
"Okay, byeeee!"
"Bye."
Ava couldn't help but jump up and down. She couldn't keep her excitement in about the sleepover and about Zoe wanting her to call tomorrow. She laid in bed staring at the single, blushing and smiling. Saturday couldn't come fast enough.
