I quickly stood up and regained my composer " Nicolette what are you doing here I thought I told you to stay away from my family "she circled around me like I was her prey smirking while giving me a knowing look that sent shivers up my spine because if she knew what I didn't it could never be good.
She stopped at my front and sneered at me "well my ignorant prince if yo haven't noticed we are in the courting room " I hated the way she called me prince it always felt wrong like an insult rather than a formality.
I gave her a confused look and she rolled her baby blue eyed I used to get lost in "still so foolish after all these years has the court thought you nothing "she said in a patronising voice I growled getting filled with rage "Nicolette my patience for you is thin be careful hence it will snap".
"Oh I'm so scared his majesty is threatening me "before she could calculate it i rammed towards her trapping her by the walls and my hands on each side of her herd then i leaned in to her ear "do not be so quick to judge my intellect my dear or do we want a repeat of last time "
i knew she was afraid when i pulled away the false mask she had been putting on was far gone she was at the brink of tears but i felt nothing i am no monster but she is just not valuable enough to revive any comfort after all the pain she had caused me and my family . The emotions i had trained for years were breaking loose but to her unknown good she shook her head to answer my question i dropped my hands and stepped back
"good now answer my question what are you doing here "
"Well if you haven't grabbed your slower than I thought. I am to be queen" she walked towards the table leaning on it like it was no big deal but I was in utter shock "excuse you" I knew exactly how my face looked disgusted
"that's right baby I'm your princess "she took a swing out of her drink and I'm down at the smashing of glass the last thing I see is Nicolette jumping out the window is the door being slammed open and my world hose blank
