Meantime John is drinking some tea at the woman's house.
"Do you need some clothes? All day walking in pajamas isn't very nice is it?" The woman asks.
John nods. "If you have something I can borrow would it be pleasant." John smiles at her. He's feeling very comfortable. The house is nice, clean very British. Remembers him of the house of his aunt where he lived for a long time when he was young.
John's wondering what the name is of the lady. She's quite young and has great dresses yet she's acting like a bit of a mother. Like she had to grow up quick.
