Temp class

We're in the hall trying to find some seats, through what seemed to be an ocean of people.

Whilst looking for some chairs we recognised some faces and pushed around a little to find somewhere to sit together. Once we're all seated the deputy principal begins his presentation. Eager to hear whatever he has to say I sit up, listening attentively. Ican see Melody(the girl who shoved herself next to me) fijetting with her shoes.

It probably doesn't sound like much but for a person with concentration like mine, of a two year old. Everything is an issue.

Right after dp's address the seniors conducting the day give a short speech and begin splitting us into eight 'temp classes' pretty self explanatory. Classes only for today, so we can get to know the school.
One by one all my friends are picked there's only one thing on my mind at this moment and it's to not be alone today. * crossing my finger I hope

They're up to the second last class "Mike, Julie, Sam, Viola and Marni" they say, oh.. Well that's all my friends, gone. They say it again "Mike, Julie, Sam, Viola and Marni just to make sure" that's when it hits haha my names Marni.

I begin walking down the stairs, as I meet up with the group I see Viola laughing, so hard that she begins to cry. "What's so funny? I question

Wiping her eyes "you forgot your name, how does tha-" I cut her off. " it happens all the time I 'disappear' when I'm alone". Well that's what my brother calls it, the disappearance people can see and hear me but I can't hear them. Viola nodded and tugged my bag, for we were moving to our first class.

We spend the whole day just talking, about literally anything and everything. So whenever the teacher spoke about an interesting topic, Viola thought of something she wanted to tell me- that's when we established she was more the talker than I was. She also would lose track of what it was she was saying too and that's where I came in. I listen, respond and reminded what she was saying.

Viola had told me a lot about her family, how she played netball and her hatred for Taylor Swift. I was just hoping that this wasn't just a one day company thing, so she wasn't alone the whole day. I was hoping that next year we were put in the same class and become good friends.

At the very end of the day we were made to stand in our class lines in the quad. We stood in our Class lines Viola said "I'm glad I hung out with you today you're funny as, you know when we're in year eight my sister Janny is starting here. I'm gonna tell her it was scary as". I simply chuckle and she continues " you won't tell her you're my friend.. You are my friend right?" " "yeah, of course I won't and definitely" I finish just as the bells rings for is to leave. We take seperate paths but a minute later I hear "see ya tomorrow Marni!" I quickly turn around to see who it was- Viola of course then I gave a big wave.
