Seven

I just got out of the hospital and was about to call my friends on where we will do our shopping for our getaway. I retrieved my phone from my backpack and saw a text from Craite.

Just letting you know I moved out today.

Fuck off!

I replied. I remember what he did last night.

Stop being such a cutie. I kinda like you more when youre pissed off.

My phone beeps again. I tried hard not to smile but it was difficult not to.

Stop talking to me!

I replied again. But my smile is actually so obvious that people started looking. I was gonna put back my phone on my pocket but it rang. It was Craite.

"What do you want?" I sounded like an angry girlfriend.

"Yeah, yeah you are pissed off. How come your smile never leaves your face?" He said then laughed.

Oww God! He's here! I looked around but I can't find him. I'm doomed!

"Where are you?" I asked again.

"Here." I heard his voice behind me. I put down the phone and turned around and saw him wearing just a tshirt, jeans and nike shoes.

"Oww!" I snapped because I was really surprised by how close he is to me. He smiled.

Damn! Why do I appreciate his smile now?

"Want to grab some coffee?" He asked. I nodded.

We went to the nearby coffee shop and he ordered cappucino and caramel macchiato. I can't help but think that we are on our second date and the first one is just yesterday. Stupid brain Vem!

"Just letting you know I started the pill doc." I said and drank my coffee.

"Good. Hows work?" He asked.

"Not too tired today. I  still got plans with my roomates." I answered.

"What kind of plans?"

"Shopping."

"For what?"

"We are going to Maldives! On sunday! For three days! " I answered.

I saw Craite's reaction changed. He looks uncomfortable now. Why? Did I say something wrong? He don't want me to go? Where on earth that thought came from Vem?

"All of your roomates?"

"Yeah."

"Three days?"

"Yeah."

"Means you're gonna be with them while wearing just bikinis." He said.

"Probably. Maybe even less." I answered then laughed.

"Please be back soon." Craite said looking pitiful.

I was gonna say something when my phone rang. I answered it.

"Even if you're in the middle of work, we'll grab you and drag you out of SSMC!" Crisfer said and hang up. I texted her telling I am at the coffee shop nearby, then I looked back at Craite.

"It is just three days, i'll be back before you know it." I assured him.

Wait what? I assured him? Why?

"My roomates will be here any minute." I changed my thoughts.

"I'll just go to the bathroom." He said and stood up.
