I looked around hopefully. I had been stuck in my car for the past four hours and have to pee really bad. I was headed back to my house in Beacon Hills and had just arrived there. My bladder had betrayed me though and is now making my journey home take longer. I walked into the gas station where the clerk was asleep and was drooling all over the counter. That was gross. I found the bathroom sign and made my way into it.
I had finally been relieved and feel a lot better. Walking back outside, I heard something moving in the bushes. I looked around, ready to see what was actually in the bushes. It was probably some small rodent, being greatly retarded and scaring me. Finally, there was a sign of life which happened to be red, glowing eyes.
I stepped closer, curiously and in wonder. I couldn't think of anything that would have red eyes from the top of my head, so I kept stepping closer and closer, until a deep gruff voice shouted something that scared me.
"Attack!"
There were sounds all around me now, feet hitting the ground due to running, growling, bodies hitting together. I looked closely at these creatures and noticed they looked very human, but not exactly human.
"Come on!" Someone said as they tried to yank me away from the scene before my eyes.
"What's happening?" I asked, utterly confused.
"Nothing you want to watch." They said and with one final, big tug pulled me away and into the passenger of a car.
"What are you doing?" I asked in horror as he began driving away.
"Getting you safe." He said and sped off to an unfamiliar direction to me.
"Explain everything. Now." I demanded.
"Werewolves." He said that one word, making me scoff.
"Tell me the truth, now."
"That's pretty much it. You were almost killed by an alpha. I saved you. You're welcome."
"I don't remember thanking you."
"The way you were staring said otherwise."
It was true. The stranger who saved me was attractive and I couldn't stop staring at him. His nice jawline, and amazing eyes along with hair. I was thankful at I had gotten saved by a hot stranger and not an ugly one.
"Was not." I said and looked out the window.
"You're too cute." He laughed and focused on the road again.
That made me blush. A lot.
He took me to his loft, where he put in a movie which we both silently watched.
"Thank you." I said suddenly, not expecting the words to come out of my mouth.
"No problem." He shrugged it off, not taking his eyes off the screen. "You are probably one of the hottest girls I've ever saved." He added, finally looking at me.
"I'm sure." I said and rolled my eyes at his exaggeration.
"Not joking." He said and kissed me abruptly. "Sorry, I wasn't thinking." He said once we separated.
"I enjoyed it." I stated, causing him to smirk and kiss me again.
"Is the girl o-" A pale boy asked and stopped. We jumped apart and he looked at the boy.
"Leave."
"Right away, Derek."
