Penguin(Theo)

Your POV

I watched as the penguins waddled their way around the tank they were forced to be in for the rest of their lives for our enjoyment. I'm glad though, because penguins are truly one if my favorite animals. They just waddle around with their cute little selves.

Theo had rushed to my house excitedly after school, pounding my door. I'm sure he would've brought the thing down if I hadn't arrived at the time I did. I looked up at his smiling face and I couldn't help but to laugh at how ridiculously happy he was.

"Why are you so happy?" I had asked. "Did you get me a penguin?" I asked a little to excitedly.

"No, but better!" He said and pulled two zoo tickets out of his back pocket. "We are going to the zoo!" He shouted, his voice echoing off the walls.

"Seriously!" I said happily and wasted no time hugging him. He hugged me back.

"Go get ready. Be back down here in ten." He demanded, releasing me.

I ran upstairs and found my penguin shirt. Yes, I may be a little too obsessed with penguins but that's not the point. The point is I love them and I get to see some in real life. I pulled the tee shirt over my head and pulled on a pair of shorts with my Vans. I rushed downstairs where Theo was scrolling through his phone.

"Done!" I announced, causing him to almost drop his phone.

He got up and slid his phone into his back pocket, taking in my appearance as he did so.

"Of course. " he rolled his eyes at my penguin shirt.

"Don't judge." I stated and closed my door behind us.

We both got into his truck and he drove his way to the zoo. He should know the way by heart since we come there often. It is were we first met, by the penguin tank ironically. He took a left and a few rights and we arrived. He parked the truck and I all but skipped my way to the entrance. Theo laughed at my eagerness once more.

"Shush, you know you love me." I said and rolled my eyes.

"You know I do." He stated and slung his arm over my shoulder after showing the worker our tickets.

We walked to the penguin tank and admired the beauties for awhile, then Theo did the unexpected. He dropped to one knee and proposed. Of course I agreed, knowing this penguin tank is more precious to us than Violet to Tate. (AHS reference. Couldn't resist)
