What is Mission Desi?

Do you have a Desi story that no one has noticed? Do you have a tale you want to share with everyone? Then you have come to the right place.

The Mission Desi campaign is all about encouraging and showcasing South Asian stories. South Asia includes Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka and we are here for them all! We are all about staying connected to our roots while at the same time, exploring and adapting to new and urban cultures. This is the place for all to come together and celebrate the desi culture. Of course, you don't have to be a desi to support this campaign. (More about the rules and regulations to follow.)

We offer quite some different things other than showcasing our Desi stories. We will have a designing book, run by our head designers Meghana and Naina, where you can request for covers to be made. We will have a book on writing tips, where you can go for any writing help. Occasionally, we will even hold contests for all you guys to participate in. Of course, that's not it. We will try to come up with new ideas to keep you all entertained. Details on what we offer will be in their individual books.

We really hope you decide to support this movement and help bring out talent. Keep in mind, only two books per author for now. If you'd like, you can even add our campaign sticker to the cover of your book (the sticker can be found on our profile). We will update you on any changes or new ways to help the cause.
