To take part in our campaign, your book must relate to the Indian culture in some way. This is because we promote and recognize Desi (South Asian) stories. You must have at LEAST one of the following in your book to participate.
1. At least 1 South Asian character that's in spotlight and shows Indian roots
2. Someone living in any of the South Asian countries.
3. Someone speaking South Asian language.
4. OR your story must relate to South Asian traditions.
The South Asian countries are Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
Once you have concluded that your story has at least of the above, you may tag your story with #MissionDesi. It will be added to our reading list as soon as possible. Keep in mind that the limit is presently of 2 books.
Also, a way to show your support would be to add the #MissionDesi sticker to your story, this sticker is available in the link in our description.
