》Can I take part in this even if I am not South Asian? Yes, of course! If you are a non-desi writing a desi story, surely! Just the story must include at least one of the following: a South Asian character in the spotlight OR someone living in South Asia OR someone speaking an South Asian language OR the South Asian culture being prominent.

》How do I join? Go to your story settings and add a tag saying "#MissionDesi". You can also add the sticker we have included in our bio. Save the sticker to your device and add it to your cover. If you need help with the sticker, please feel free to ask one of the moderators.

》I'm not writer, but I want to become a part of this campaign. Can I? How can I help? You can definitely be a part of this, even if you don't do any writing. You can help publicise the campaign. You can read and support stories tagged under #MissionDesi. Our reading lists consist of books of different genres where you can find whatever fits your liking.

》Can we enter more than one story in this campaign? No more than two.

》Is it okay if my story is incomplete? Yes.

》What qualifies as a desi character? The character shows his or her South Asian roots whether through appearance, beliefs, religion, traditions, environment etc.

》If I join this campaign, am I still allowed to enter other campaigns? Yes! Most definitely! We support all other campaigns in our Wattpad community such as Projectwomanup, Freeyourbody, #diverselit, etc.

》My story is completely Desi, but my cast is foreign actors. Is that okay? Yes.

》How long will this campaign last? As long as the community likes.

》How can I enter my story in your reading lists? Just tag your story with #MissionDesi and/or add the sticker to your cover. We'll find it and add it to our lists immediately.
