Why did I come here, Eric thought as he was running for his life. The fiery flames swallowing and licking up everything in his path. Hissing at him and begging him to join them. They had already token the lives of others. He was just another victim for them, and they will not stop until they have him. Eric wipes off the sweat that keeps appearing on his hands and face. The temperature is rising every single second. His ears began to ring from the screaming and shouting. Please do not let this be the last thing I hear before I die he thought. The balls of fire begin chewing through the palm trees and leaving them bare, exposed, and naked. The balls of fire are still hungry and are yearning for more. Everyone surrounding him is running. Trying to get to safety. As he is running bodies lay on the ground. People whose faces are visible on the ground are contorted and barely visible from the burns. Suddenly he hears a snap and turns around in one swift movement and sees a palm tree falling down. The tree collapses and leaves a gash on his leg. He runs in the opposite direction. His heart is pounding and he begins to wonder if this will be the last moment his heart will beat. Will this be my last memory before I die? Total chaos and destruction. Why has mother nature succumb to doing this? or has it nothing to do with mother nature? What if it involves something else. He had a feeling someone or something is behind this.Something beyond our wildest dreams maybe? Before he can answer his own questions he bumps into someone.
