23- You Meet Him For The First Time

Today was the day that you get to go to your very first Mika concert! You were absolutely excited that you get to meet your idol for the very first time. Your parents actually got you tickets for your birthday, which totally surprised you. They say the only thing you talk about is Mika, and you never shut up about. You'll think that they'll try to get you away from him. Guess not!

But today was going to be the greatest day ever.

"Mom! Hurry up! We're going to be late!" You yell to your mother as you run down the stairs.

"Okay, okay! I'm coming!" Your mother's says rushing towards you. You both get inside the car and she drives off to the concert. Your heart feels like its going to fly out of your chest from excitement. This is the day you finally get to see Michael Holbrook Penniman Jr in person!

Finally your mother gets to the concert stadium. Your eyes widen as you get closer and closer. The line to get in was pretty long. There were so many other people just like you who were dying to see Mika. At least you weren't the only one who freaked out about him.

At the corner of your eye, you see a man who's really tall and his curly hair sticking up. He was surrounded by body guards to protect him from other people. Instantly you knew it was Mika.

"Mom! Mom, look it's Mika!" You scream to your mom and point at Mika in shock.

"Yes hun, I see him." She replies to you.

"No, don't worry, I have a few extra minutes to spare." Mika's voice speaks. His English was just so cute! And his accent was just so adorable!

Then Mika starts coming closer to the line. Oh my gosh, he's taking his own time just to see his fans. You tried not to fan girl as he got closer and closer to you. Soon, he was already at least on step away from you.

As he finishes talking with another fan his eyes already meet yours. It seems like a mini heart attack happens as you two make eye contact.

"H-hi." You say nervously to him.

Mika smiles, "Hi!"

"Oh my gosh, can- can I have a hug?!" You blurt out.

"Of course!" Mika smiles and wraps his arms around you. You hug him tightly and lay your head on his chest. 'He smells amazing' you think to yourself as Mika let's go and looks at you with a smile. "I'll see you soon at the concert." He says to you and walks away to the next person.

When he walks away, you instantly scream in your head. YOU JUST HUGGED MIKA FUCKING PENNIMAN. That is amazing.

About thirty minutes later, more fans join the line to see Mika perform. Mika alredady went inside to get ready. A few minutes later, the door open up and the workers start letting people inside. Quickly the line moves, as soon as you know it, you and your mom are already in the front of the line. You hand the workers the tickets to get inside. He smiles and lets you and your mother inside. This is actually happening, you're going to see Mika perform!

It took another long thirty minutes or more for all the people to get in the stadium. Your mother got you front row tickets, which made this night even ten times better. You look around the stage, it was decorated with 'No Place In Heaven' objects. Like the flowers and the trumpet from 'Talk About You'. You look at the curtain as it moves, then you see Mika poke out his head and smile at the crowd. You weren't the only one who saw him because the rest of the crowd starts screaming, including you as he quickly goes back behind the curtain.

A small laugh escapes your mouth, he was just so adorable. Then all of a sudden the lights turn on, on the stage and Mika's band comes out and get ready. Just a few minutes later, the one and only Mika comes out and waves to the crowd as he walks to his microphone stand. His mouth gets closer to the microphone as he says, "How are you guys tonight?!" 

The whole crowd goes crazy and you can see Mika laughing. Then, Mika's band starts playing 'Talk About You', a great song to start this amazing concert. Mika sings other songs like, 'Grace Kelly', 'Origin Of Love' and a few more. Then he stops for a moment and skims the crowd.

"You know what? I really need a friend to join me on stage." Mika says while still skimming the crowd. The crowd screams louder than ever and their hands shoot up in the air, hoping they will be called on.

Then, Mika looks down at the front you, still skimming. Then his eyes land on, YOU. Yes, you, he's looking at you.

"I choose this lovely lady right here." He says as he walks to the very front of the stage and grabs your hand. He uses all his strength and pulls you up onto the stage. You couldn't help but hug him again. His arms wrap around you then he shows you where you can sit for the rest of the show. 

Surprisingly you got to sit by Max, which was amazing, because Max is one of your favorite band members in Mika's band. "Congratulations." Max says to you with a small chuckle.

"Thanks." You laugh nervously then your eyes lay on Mika as the music for 'Love Today' starts playing. Mika starts dancing like a crazy lunatic and Max starts singing his part in the beginning. You smile as you watch, then Mika grabs your hand and tells you to dance with him. You really didn't want to, because you didn't want to embarrass yourself in front of hundreds of Mikafreaks, but hey, this is the only time this will ever happen, so why not? You and Mika just start dancing like crazy to the music of 'Love Today'. Poor Max seems like he's out of breath and Mika just starts picking on him which makes you and the crowd laugh. 

Mika finally starts singing the words for 'Love Today'. It was absolutely an amazing experience. Then after the song ends, the lights get dimmer and the crowd starts calming down. A piano starts playing the tone of 'Underwater'. Mika wipes the sweat off his face and fixes his hat, he puts the mic on the microphone stand and he looks at the crowd. Then the words from 'Underwater' escape out of his mouth. It was beautiful. 

But then the best thing ever happened. When Mika sang the lyrics, "'Cause all I need, is the love you breath, put your lips on me and I can breath, underwater!" Mika turns towards you and looks at you straight in the eye. The most serious face ever is on his face. What did this mean? He liked you or something?

Soon the best time of your life ended and everyone started leaving the concert. You were still on the stage, then Mika turned to you and walked towards you. He handed you a small piece of paper, "Call me sometime?" He told you then helped you off the stage. You gave him one last big hug.

"Bye Mika!" You yelled to him as you and your mother start leaving. Mika smiles and waves goodbye to you. As you get into the car you open the note that Mika gave you. It reads, "You're a pretty great person, we should talk sometime?" And it left with his phone number and he signed the note with, "-M xx"
