Castiel POV

I walked down the road to the old house. As I reached the stairs my legs froze to the ground. I could feel my wings shiver. I did not want to go up the stairs. The last thing I needed in my life right now was some guy come and fuck it up. He was probably like everybody else. The popular kind.

The kind that made fun of me. I had finally made peace with who I was and now I was forced to go to some dinner, with the family that had moved in next door. If you count 100 meters from my house as next door.

We lived in a small town, or five kilometres from the town. There were only two houses in the clearing, in the middle of the forest. I liked it here. It was quiet and I could go outside and "fly" whenever I wanted, without being afraid that someone would see my wings. Now everything was changed.

My dad knew the man, Bobby, who had moved in with his family. But the only thing I knew about them was that the father was named Bobby, mother was Jody and apparently they had two boys around my age.

I didn't have any siblings, at least not human. When my Father created me as the last one of my kind, the other angels got jealous, and, kind of threw me out of heaven. I was adopted by the Novak family, who couldn't have children. After I came here, as a baby with wings, my siblings started turning against each other and war broke out in heaven. It was still going on.

I walked the stairs slowly, then knocked at the door. I have met my Father four times after I was sent here. That is four times more than most of the angels. After the war began no one had seen or heard from him. I was the only one who had actually had any contact with him. My parents meet him once, that night he gave me to them, but they don't really remember it that well.

The door opened, dragging me back from my thoughts. I looked up, meeting the greenest eyes ever to lay eye on an angel. I couldn't speak a word. There I stood completely enchanted by a pair of green eyes. The boy in front of me starred at me too, not able to say a word either. Wow.

My wings moved under my trench coat forcing me to take a step forward, so he wouldn't see them. "Ehm... Hey, I'm ... I-I'm Castiel ¨" the boy took a step aside opening the door.

"D-Dean Winchester here. Nice meeting you. You must be Paul's son. Come in!" he said nervously, smiling at me. His eyes met mine again as I walked in. I held my breath as I turned around, and he slowly closed the door behind me.

Dean POV

A boy with the bluest eyes I have ever seen stood in front of me. I looked at the floor unable to meet his eyes. If I had I was afraid that I could never take my eyes off him.

I could feel my face blush as I looked at him and showed him the way to the living room. My heart beating in my chest stronger than usually. Never had I felt like this before. "Dean would you help me set the table please?" Jody asked.

"Jody, I told you I was going to help you. Just sit down with Castiel, I will help her." Marian, Castiel's mother, said smiling.

I looked over at Castiel. He sat by the fireplace in a chair watching his father and Bobby discussing some work related stuff, I really couldn't care less about what they said. I walked over and sat down in the chair opposite to Cas. Our eyes met.

"So Cas, tell me, what's so special about this place that made us move here?" By the mentioning of his name he tilted his head a little to the left.

"No one has ever called me that before." He frowned at me.

"What? Cas? Oh, you don't like it?"

"No, no its not that. I like it..." he smiled at me lifting his head again. Once again our eyes met. Two blue and shining eyes starring in to my green eyes.
