Carter's POV

I looked at the ground and listened intently to Alpha.

"Now without further interuptions my son Jonathan." He said in a loud voice steping out of the way.

"I don't know how we usually do this but I know that my mate is here." Jonanthan said stepping up. Christina sat up straighter. "I feel that even though I don't know who she is yet. I know her. I can tell by her scent. She's kind, beautiful inside and out and she's smart. And she's a great fighter. And I feel thats all I need to know right now because we will have the rest of our lives to figure eachother out." And then Jonathan zoned out a little bit like he was thinking about her. "You guys are all invited to the party tonight starts at nine. Lets all welcome Alek one more time alright?"

Then erveryone was howling and cheering and clapping.

I turned to Rose. "Help me find something to wear!" I yelled.

"Don't worry I already got this all figured out. C'mon." Rose said calmly she always has a plan for everything. We stood up and so did Alek. "Alek! Oh uh you can walk back with us to the house and i can show you around."

"Sounds good." He said smiling the most gorgeous smile I've ever seen.

We started walking in the direction of the house.

Jonathan pulled out of a conversation he was having, "Excuse me." He mumbled pushing through all the girls that where swirming around him like bees. "Hey Alek!" He called.

"Umm uhh." He said looking a Rose.

"Better to get on his good side before he's the alpha." She laughed.

Alek laughed to and ran to John.

"And then there were two." Rose said smiling at me.

"Just the way we like it right?" We laughed but were interupted by Christina.

"Hey Carter! Ummm...." She said looking at Rosalie.

"Rose?" I asked.

"Yeah whatever." She turned to me, "Katie and I are going shopping and wanted to know if you wanted to come. You know get an outfit for the party. The three most attractive girls in the pack gotta look good you know!"

"Well then your asking the wrong person. Plus rose and I already hav eour outfits planned."

"What do you mean we've got the wrong person? Your gorgeous!"

I shook my head. "Rose is better looking than me. And I'm sorry but I'm not going with you guys. See you later." I said smiling.

"OK. Bye Carter! Bye Ross!"  Christina said nicely and walked away.

"Ross?" I asked and Rose and I looked at eachother... Then we started to laugh really hard.

"This part will be fun don't you think Carter?" Rose said fixing her Masscara.

"Yeah. I mean even if we aren't his Mate the part will still be fun... What do you think Alek and John were talking about?"

"He was prabably just welcoming him." She put on a necklace.

"Yeah. You didn't happen to realize how hot he was did you?" I asked her smiling.
